My dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please, I beg to offer my humble and respectful obeisances at your divine lotus feet.
In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.1.22 purport, you mentioned, “Learned men must be cautious of
this age, and if they at all want to cross over the dangerous ocean of Kali, they must follow in the
footsteps of the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya and accept Śrīla Sūta Gosvāmī or his representative as the
captain of the ship.”
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are the captain of the present ship of Śrīmad Bhagavad-gītā and
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam as no one had ever presented them as you have done. You are not less than the
previous ācāryas. You are the most powerful and effective ācārya of all times.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, your purports are perfectly complete in all respects and sufficient to make
anyone a fully Kṛṣṇa conscious person. Also, Śrīla Prabhupāda, in your purport to Śrī Caitanya-
caritāmṛta, Madhya 1.218, you mention, “If a Vaiṣṇava, by the mercy of the Lord, is empowered by
Him to distribute the Lord’s holy name all over the world, other Vaiṣṇavas become very joyful –
that is, if they are truly Vaiṣṇavas.”
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are the only one who did the work of spreading the holy name of Kṛṣṇa
all over the world and made the whole world dance in the nectar of the holy names of Kṛṣṇa.
Please, dear Śrīla Prabhupāda, kindly overlook my offenses and mistakes and look at me with
mercy, and in this way, give me the treasure of the holy names of Kṛṣṇa.
Your foolish eternal grandson,
Bhakti Dhīra Dāmodara Swami
