Our dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda,
nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe
Please accept our respectful obeisances at your lotus feet with utmost gratitude for giving us shel-
ter. All glories to your continued causeless mercy on humanity.
In 1976, you came to Detroit and showered the greatest blessings on all the residents of Michi-
gan by installing the most merciful Deities, Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi. You instructed us to worship
Them like two princes. Until then we were worshiping a beautiful painting of Śrī Pañca-tattva
on the altar. We humbly beg your blessings to celebrate the whole year of 2026 as the grand
celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi’s installation. We have already
started preparing to repaint the magnificent temple room, keeping the most beautiful architec-
ture intact. In continuation, we would like to refurbish the elegant historical home of Śrī Śrī
Rādhā-Kuñjabihārījī.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you were so happy when this mansion was bought for Śrī Śrī Rādhā-
Kuñjabihārījī’s new home. You stayed here and gave detailed instructions on what to do. It has
such a glorious history here, with so many great leaders of our movement having participated in
loving services to you and Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kuñjabihārījī.
At this moment, all the devotees who are currently serving here feel fortunate and blessed to be
able to participate in your mission at Devasadhan Mandira.
O savior of the whole universe, we are begging you to give us the good fortune to continue
to participate in loving service at your lotus feet and our most merciful Deities Śrī Śrī Rādhā-
Kuñjabihārījī while we are in these bodies. Please hold our hands tightly, because we have a ten-
dency to run away from you.
Begging for forgiveness for our unlimited offenses to the Vaiṣṇavas,
Your humble servants at Devasadan Mandir,
(written by Jagad-guru Dāsa)
