Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine
Grace!
On this sacred occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we, the devotees of ISKCON Nagpur, bow our
heads in gratitude for the boundless mercy you have showered upon us. We are nothing but tiny
sparks in the vast universe, yet through your compassion you gave us the shelter of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s
holy name, the association of devotees, and the path of pure bhakti.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, you left the comfort of Vrindavan and traveled across the world so that lost
souls like us could find meaning and purpose in our lives. What have we done to deserve such
mercy? We look at ourselves and see so many shortcomings, yet you continue to uplift us through
your books, your words, and your example. You have given us everything – Kṛṣṇa, His devotees,
His service – and asked for nothing in return except our sincerity and devotion.
We do not know how to serve you properly, but we pray that we may always hold tightly to
your instructions and try, in whatever little way we can, to assist in your mission. You taught us
that the greatest offering is the sincerity of the heart, and so, with all our limitations, we offer our
hearts to your service. Please bless us that we may always remember that we are simply instru-
ments in the hands of Śrī Guru and Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Nagpur is a small place in this vast world, but even here, your mercy has touched so many lives.
Devotees come together to chant, to hear, to serve, and to share what you gave us. Whatever little
we do is only by your grace. We pray that we may never take this mercy for granted.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, we are your children, and we take shelter at your lotus feet. Please bless us
that we may always remain servants of your servants, humbly carrying forward the gift of Kṛṣṇa
consciousness that you so mercifully gave us. May we never forget that our true purpose in life is
to serve you, and through you, to serve Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa.
Your eternal servants,
The devotees of ISKCON Nagpur
