Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāminn iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe
With tireless determination, brilliant arguments, pure devotion to Gaura-Nitāi, and unique spiritual potency, Prabhupāda established a thriving saṅkīrtana movement, ISKCON, all around the world. Prabhupāda emphasized that success in the West would lead to acceptance of Kṛṣṇa consciousness around the world. He personally told me this many times.
To rebuild the powerful Western mission that Prabhupāda constructed, we must act as spiritual scientists – both in the content of our teaching and the manner of our presentation. I can only pray that Lord Kṛṣṇa, in the hearts of ISKCON devotees, inspires them to understand and present Kṛṣṇa consciousness as a pure spiritual science.
