Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda! Please accept my humble obeisances!
mūkaṁ karoti vācālaṁ paṅguṁ laṅghayate girim
yat-kṛpā tam ahaṁ vande śrī-gurum dīna-tāraṇam
By the mercy of the guru, even a dumb man can become the greatest orator, and even a lame man can cross mountains.
As advised by Lord Brahmā, one should remember this śāstric injunction if one desires success in his life.
It is impossible to glorify a great person like you, but we are trying to do this for our own purification. This year we are the celebrating the fifty-fifth anniversary of your arrival in the Soviet Union. By your causeless mercy, you decided to come to Moscow despite all obstacles and danger. As a result, you met professor Kotovsky and inspired at least one person to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness. From this person, so many others started to practice, and by the great effort of your followers we now have hundreds of thousands of devotees in Russia.
This year we want to make you a special offering by distributing 1,055,000 books, and we are praying for your mercy to be able to do this. Please make us an instrument to fulfill your will! Please allow us to inspire more and more people on the path of Kṛṣṇa consciousness and to always remain loyal servants of your servants!
Always desiring your mercy,
Bhakti Ratnākara Ambarīśa Swami
