Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept our sincere, respectful obeisances. All glories to you.
When we were asked to offer our glorification to you, we were at a complete loss for words.
First, we are not competent, with little capacity, and we are also short of imagination to be able to
comprehend the contribution you made to uplift the confused and godless human society from
their sufferings and revive their God consciousness. In essence, any offering will not justify your
contribution to the fallen humankind of Kali-yuga.
Your unconditional surrender to your Guru Mahārāja in obeying his instructions is unpar-
alleled in current history. You embarked upon a journey across seven seas to spread Kṛṣṇa
consciousness without any material resources but only with unflinching faith in your guru’s
instructions and the mercy and teachings of Nityānanda Prabhu and Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu.
We in ISKCON Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, are a small congregation trying to carry out as many
activities as we can with your blessings and under the guidance and blessings of your disciples
and granddisciples. Whenever we feel low, your books, lectures, and the sacrifices you made
through your immeasurable hardships to spread the mission of Caitanya Mahāprabhu inspire us
to uplift our consciousness and energy to improve our sādhana and serve by spreading the mission
of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, in your teachings you keep clarifying that the purpose of our existence and
the goal of life is to attain the eternal service of the Divine Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa. You have
already engaged us in such pure service through missionary activities, starting with book dis-
tribution, preaching, and Food-for-Life. You have given us a pure purpose, pure activities, pure
understanding of the scriptures, and the pure faith needed to attain the ultimate perfection of this
human life.
Thank you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, for all that you gave us. We will be indebted to you forever in
this as well as our future lives. We all beg for your eternal mercy. Jaya Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Your fallen servants,
ISKCON Dar es Salaam
