Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktivedānta-svāmin iti nāmine
namas te sārasvate deve gaura-vāṇī-pracāriṇe
nirviśeṣa-śūnyavādi-pāścātya-deśa-tāriṇe
Let me please you, show me the way
Allow me to serve you, never going astray
Will material qualities offer success
Or does it depend on how we dress?
Physical strength, education or diligence
Beauty, expertise or intelligence
Some may feel this is the answer
Or is it just a type of insidious cancer?
Purifying the heart is what we should seek
Follow your orders, never become weak
The example you set always on our mind
Chanting our 16 rounds, never falling behind.
Allow me to never become unhinged
Nor leave your shelter and end up fringed
I aspire to always be your loving servant
Mindful of your words, always observant.
You said, “Let me preach till my last breath”
Give all to Kṛṣṇa, despite pending death
Show us with your supreme ability
To transcend the body with total tranquility.
Most of your disciples are getting quite old
The future of the movement, how will it unfold?
Absorbing your teachings to the greatest extent
To ward off any duplicitous descent.
New devotees come from all walks of life
See the mundane world with its hatred and strife
Kṛṣṇa consciousness is the true alternative
Whether one is moderate, liberal or conservative.
Together we follow what you’ve taught
Pursuing divine legacy that you have brought
Go forward with faith and trust in the mission
Abandon all selfishness and ambition.
I feel confident we will continue to expand
To fulfill your vision the way you planned
Take all souls we meet to the spiritual sky
We should sacrifice everything, before we die.

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Your servants at ISKCON Tucson are dedicated to your mission and continue to spread your
teachings in this desert, where impious living entities reside. Please empower us to break through
the encrusted hearts of the conditioned souls and give them a taste of the spiritual world.
Always in your debt,
The residents of Tucson Dhāma
