Vyāsa-pūjā 2019
My dear spiritual father His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to your lotus feet!
I offer my prostrated obeisances to your lotus feet on the occasion of your Vyasa-puja celebration.
Guru Mahārāja, your glory and magnanimity knows no bounds and is always ever increasing. The display of your unlimited divine characteristics such as the undaunting spirit to preach despite all odds, the execution of unmotivated and uninterrupted devotional service, focused meditation on instructions of Śrīla Prabhupāda (which are your very life and soul), unconditional care for your disciples, never being on the bodily platform, the insurmountable zeal to cooperate and follow Vaishnava etiquette and undeviating remembrance of the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya are giving rise to hope, fortune, enthusiasm and devotion to Lord Kṛṣṇa, in the lives of anyone/everyone who is getting your association.
Your merciful presence in this material world is being relished like a crown jewel and is the pivot of the devotional lives of many. Your clairvoyant ahead of time vision and inspiring involvement is the driving factor for many historical projects which are in actuality the desires of the Guru Parampara and Śrīla Prabhupāda. Your resolute urge to use all your time in the service of Guru, Hari, and Vaishnavas, has displayed the mood of the spiritual realm in this mundane exploitative world.
Dear Guru Mahārāja, this insignificant disciple of yours also tries to make some efforts to meditate on the instructions given by you. I am serving as a brahmachari servant in a Bhakti Center in Marthahalli, which is a branch of ISKCON Narasiṁha Giridhari Mandir.
Your standing instruction for devotees/your disciples in Bengaluru is to strive to make Bengaluru a Kṛṣṇa Conscious city by 2020. This effort involved in this vision (which I have full faith will come true) is like an ocean in which my contribution is that of a drop.
Last year we started Janmashtami in a new location called Kadugodi, from which we reaped 3 Gita Courses. I am connected to the budding devotees there (under the able guidance of my Shiksha Guru) and since the last Janmashtami I visit them (to conduct sessions) on a weekly basis, and around 40+ devotees are chanting now. The target is to take them to 4 rounds by June, followed by a Yatra to Śrī Māyāpur Dhām. They have developed primary faith in Kṛṣṇa and now are slowly beginning to hanker for devotee association. The journey till now has been possible simply by your causeless mercy without which I am just a straw destined to be eternally tossed and kicked in the waves of nescience.
By virtue of your mercy simultaneously I have also been able to assist and guide 15 youth boys who are also connected to me from about 2 years now, 1 recently got initiated and 4 more aspiring to get connected to guru parampara soon. Seeking your blessings to continue guiding all my students em-pathetically. Kindly also bless me for my other services which include kitchen and fundraising via which I am striving to please/assist the devotees/local authorities.
I am very unfortunate, I do not understand your mood and often I fail to understand the urgency of your mission, but you are very kind to have allowed a wicked soul like me to be under the shelter of your lotus feet. I hanker for that day come when I will develop some devotional qualities for your pleasure. I yearn to get a drop of dedication and commitment which you have for Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Your mercy is only wealth. You told once if we, your disciples, focus our minds on Kṛṣṇa then your mercy will follow profusely, please bless me to be able to do so. Please bless me so that I may continue to strengthen my eternal bond with you and become a faithful servant of your servants. Hankering for a drop of your mercy.
Yours eternally,
Acyuta Arjunasakha dāsa,
Śrī Śrī Narasiṁha Giridhari Mandir,
