All glories to you! Beloved spiritual master. You are the bonafide representative of Kṛṣṇa. Having found you, O master, in this material world that is full of faults and misery, is an inconceivable causeless mercy.
Śāstra says:
yasya prasādād bhagavat-prasādo
yasyāprasādān na gatiḥ kuto 'pi
dhyāyan stuvaṁs tasya yaśas tri-sandhyaṁ
vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam
“By the mercy of the Spiritual Master, one receives the benediction of Kṛṣṇa. Without the grace of the Spiritual Master, one cannot make any advancement.”
O Master, please engage me always in your service so that I will be able to understand the scriptures and surrender constantly to your service.
sākṣād-dharitvena samasta-śāstrair
uktas tathā bhāvyata eva sadbhiḥ
kintu prabhor yaḥ priya eva tasya
vande guroḥ śrī-caraṇāravindam
Oh Master! Without your mercy it is not possible to have any good quality. Please excuse all my offenses at your lotus feet.
Your unworthy servant,
Rohiṇīja Dāsa Brahmacārī
