Dear Guru Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
Srila Gurudeva, on the occasion of Vyasa Puja, I pray to Shri Shri Radha Madhav, Narsimhadev and Gaura Nitai to give you complete protection and bless you with good health.
Even during the pandemic, you are so enthusiastic to take classes on Chaitanya Charitamrita which is just like nectar to hear. Just by listening and looking at you, I have overcome so many sufferings of mine. The sheer determination in you to face all difficulties in life has made me stronger and be more determined to have unflinching faith in the Lord. You had come to Dubai in 2019 and I had the opportunity to see and listen to your nectarian words. Your blessings are the most precious gift I have ever had in my life.
I am waiting to take shelter from you. Beloved Gurudeva, when you say, “Gauranga” I feel so happy from deep inside my heart and visualize Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his associates and their past times. I become so overjoyed.
Please bless me so I will be steady in my devotional service and engage all my service unto you. My deepest desire is that my family comes to Krishna consciousness and help and support me serving you better. I beg you for your causeless mercy and please forgive me for all my offenses. Please accept this fallen soul as your servant.
A child genius from Wisconsin,
With a spirtual journey, about to begin,
Hearing devotees chant,
"Hare Krishna, Hare Rama!"
You met Shrila Prabhupad.
Oh! How powerful was that mantra,
Enough to make hair stand up straight,
Your first service was to build a yatra
Later, Shrila Prabupad did initiate,
You, young Gordon John as Jayapataka Das.
Problems ensued, health and otherwise,
The Lord heard his pure devotee cry,
Still, Kirtans You held and harmonized,
The Holy Name with no compromise.
Far and abroad, You outreached,
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s name, You preached,
Your only desire, to make pure devotees,
Now, You’re the purest one of the seven seas.
My dearest Gurumaharaj,
I offer my obeisances, and beg for Your mercy
I cry for you to, one day, accept me as a devotee,
So that at my end, bittersweet,
I may serve the Lord's lotus feet.
Your humble servant,
Jayarama Pallavi,
Gaurangadesh Yatra, Dubai.
