Vyāsa-pūjā 2018
GURU MAHARAJ PLEASE ACCEPT MY HUMBLE OBESCIENCES,
Firstly thank you for accepting me as your disciple. One should not miss any opportunity to glorify their Guru, so today on this auspicious occasion I feel fortunate to glorify my Guru, who is so special in all the ways. Gurudev you have served as an example for all of us on how one should serve his Guru. I hope by your mercy I can also serve you throughout my life.
I always admire your unique quality to GIVE GIVE GIVE and specially GIVE the holy name to each and everyone. I can never forget one incident when you were in Delhi, and I had gotten an opportunity to visit. Our temple president, HG Varadakrishna Prabhu was explaining about our BV to you. I was actually very nervous, and while he was speaking to you, you kept your hand close to your chest and told me, ‘ I am very proud of you, my spiritual daughter.’ That time my emotions were a mixture of shyness as well as extreme joy. I really felt fortunate to be present there and spend these precious moments with you.
Gurumaharaj your giving mood always has a message, on how we should behave with our godbrothers and godsisters. If we constantly strive in making each other feel comfortable, then it easy to maintain a healthy Krsna conscious community.
Thank you for all these special realizations. I will work on and stretch myself to the best of my abilities to preach and practice what you have taught us by your own example. Whenever I think about, see, listen to your lectures and kirtans, one song keeps popping up in my mind. I used to sing this song when I was in college. At that time, it only had material meaning but now it also has spiritual significance. The song goes,
WHERE IS THE TIME TO HATE?
WHEN THERE IS SO LITTLE TIME TO LOVE?
So, come on devotees, let's CHANT CHANT CHANT HARE KRSNA
Come on devotees, lets DANCE DANCE DANCE TO HARE KRSNA
Come on lets honor KRSNA PRASAD PRASAD PRASAD,
ALWAYS TOGETHER.
On your sixty-ninth Vyasa-puja, I pray to their Lordships, Sri Sri Gandharvika Giridhari, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Sri Lakshmi Narsimhadev for your long life, to serve and inspire all of us in your mission to please Srila Prabhupada. Gurudev I am eternally thankful to you for everything you are doing for me.
Please forgive me for any mistakes I have unknowingly committed.
Your spiritual daughter,
Premamayi Indulekha Devi Dasi
