Dear Guru Maharaja
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances into your lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to the most auspicious day of your transcendental appearance!
Guru Maharaja, I want to take advantage of this day to thank you for everything you are doing for me, all the mercy you give me without deserving it.
Thanks to your blessings, I continue to have the greatest treasure of all, which is being in association with the devotees. Thanks to your instructions and words of encouragement, I keep trying every day to become a better devotee and disciple.
Thank you for saving me again and again from Maya's arms, thank you for giving me the correct vision when I needed it most.
You are my eternal father and that is the only real thing in this world, "our relationship is eternal, everything else is going to pass since it is temporary, do not get confused" ... (you told me with your encouraging words and in an expert way like only you know how to inspire the devotees in the heart and help them to see different situations in their real perspective.
On SB 7.9.8-11 we find this analogy: ”… the spiritual master, who is an ocean of auspicious qualities.] [The spiritual master is receiving benediction from the ocean of mercy. Just as a cloud pours water on a forest fire to extinguish it, so the spiritual master delivers the materially afflicted world."
Guru Maharaja you are the perfect example of this and each one of the qualities that the scriptures describe regarding a bonafide spiritual Master.
Guru Maharaja you are my inspiration as I see your tolerance and determination to continue executing your service in an exemplary manner without letting you be affected at any time by any kind of seemingly adverse circumstance, only with the goal and unwavering desire to try to carry out Srila Prabhupad’s mission.
Thank you Guru Maharaja, for being exemplary, for being so kind and merciful to the most fallen like me. As Srila Prabhupada explains in various purports, "it is not possible for the disciple to repay the debt to the spiritual master. Therefore the disciple remains eternally indebted to the spiritual master and continually works in such a way that the spiritual master may become pleased upon him for such sincere services rendered."
I take this opportunity to reaffirm my vows, to never give up and with your blessings to become fixed in the process and thus be able to help you in your service to Srila Prabhupada and be useful in the mission of helping souls to know Krishna and reestablish their eternal relationship with Him.
I pray for one day to be able to please you Guru Maharaja.
Praying at your lotus feet,
Your worthless aspiring servant,
Your spiritual daughter,
Ganatosita devi dasi
