All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to Srila Gurudeva.
Please accept my most humble obeisances on your lotus feet.
Our deep feelings of gratitude always form the basis of our offerings to Your Divine Grace on this glorious day of your appearance. Realizing how blinded I am by the darkness of material nature, I can see how lucky I am to have the shelter of a Spiritual Master such as you, my dear Gurudeva. Though I'm stubbornly attached to Maya, you continue to ushering me towards Krishna. This is no special treatment; rather you treat everyone this way, devoid of discrimination.
When instructing Yudhistira Maharaja, Yamaraja explained "Mahajano yena gatah sa pantah: one should follow in the footsteps of great personalities".
We experience that without the guidance and blessings of ones spiritual masters there can be no progress in spiritual life - yasya prasad bhagavat prasadan.
Dear Gurudeva, I am realizing by Krishna's mercy that I am very fortunate to of come into your good association and thus have the opportunity to engage in devotional service. You have been very kind to all fallen conditioned souls and inspires us in Krsna's service. I am taking the opportunity of the most auspicious event of your Vyasa-puja to try and express my gratitude.
I am going to the next phase of my material as well as my spiritual life. So kindly bestow your causeless mercy upon me to face the different aspects of this material world which I have never come across so far. Dear Gurudeva, so kindly keep me under the shelter of your lotus feet and bless me to continue more in serving and getting your divine association. I don’t know what is good or bad for me gurudeva. You are the only one who can guide me the correct way, which is the one and only hope for me in my life.
I am now appearing for my XII standard examinations which are a very crucial part of life. After that, I am supposed to move back to India for future studies. Kindly be with me in all good and bad times as a constant pillar of knowledge, guidance, and support.
I always pray to Lord Nrisimhadeva for your good health and also to give us an opportunity to have your darshan and serve your lotus feet Gurudeva.
Your most insignificant spiritual daughter,
Indulekha (d/o Malini kanti devi dasi and Sukirti Krishna das)
