Dear Guru Maharaj, please accept my humble obeisances.
All glory to Srila Prabhupada, all glory to Your divine grace.
Thank you for leading me
back to Krsna, to my natural state of devotional service to the Lord and His devotees.
All the good things in my life are at your mercy. Despite my stubborn resistance, you continue
to lead me back to Krsna, to my natural state of devotional service to the Lord and His devotees.
As a loving father rejoices in the first steps of his child, so do you
rejoice in any of my first steps in the spiritual life, and you
also support me all the time so that I do not stumble and fall.
In lectures, your words cut or unravel the tight knots of my material attachments and anarthas that are in my heart. I feel that you are trying to rid me of the false ego, the desire to dominate this world, the desire to imitate Krsna, which can take many different forms. At the initiation, you gave me the name Dhanvantari Gauranga das, and this is inextricably linked to the treatment of Vaishnavas. From that moment to this day, by your grace, the Lord has engaged me in this service. Through helping the Vaishnavas, I feel that I am participating in Srila Prabhupada's mission, and my heart is changing inside. I want to improve my ministry. Let me become more perfect every day. Thanks to you, I got a taste of real happiness. To me, you are the very personified Grace of Krsna. I bow again and again at your lotus feet: please accept these imperfect lines from one of Your servants.
