Dearest Srila Gurumaharaj, Please accept my respectful obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to Your divine grace.
All glories to you Srila gurumaharaj on your most auspicious Vyasa puja day!
How is it that while writing this offering I am struggling to find the words to say, it almost feels that no words I type will do justice to what I want to express, I guess thats where the saying comes from "actions speak louder than words"
Well maybe that is a good place to start, every single action you do is an offering, in fact your whole life is a divine offering, an offering of love and service to Krishna and Srila Prabhupada. It would be true for me to say that you do not take one moment for your self, your every breath is used for the service of Srila Prabhupada. I pray that one day I can make my life an offering to you.
You believed in me when I didn't even believe in myself, you quite literally picked me up out of my material suffering when I didn't even want to be picked up. I am 25 years old now, and was 20 when I first met you in Heathrow airport. Even though I was unwilling, by your causeless mercy, little did I know that in that moment my life would change for ever.
“The verdict of all revealed scriptures is that by even a moment’s association with a pure devotee, one can attain all success" - Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 7.9.8
Gurumaharaj, I feel so fortunate to have you as my spiritual farther, you have shown me what love really means, you constantly set an example for the whole world to follow, you are always fanning my spark even when I feel the light is about to go out. You have awakened a chamber in my heart that I didn't even know was there, one that wants to please you, to serve you and wants to forget everything else.
I have entered into a new phase of my life now, and got married to a really wonderful devotee, Radha Govinda das, your spiritual nephew. He has gown to love you just as much I do. We pray that we can work as a team and come up with innovative and creative ways to serve you, and Srila Prabhupada.
Gurumahraj I pray that you bestow your causeless mercy on me so that my life can be an offering to you, any thing good that I may do is only due to your causless mercy. I pray that I can live in such a way that is pleasing to you, may I always be engaged in some way, trying to help bring souls to Srila Prabhupadas lotus feet.
Please forgive me Srila Gurumaharaj for all of my short comings, I really am such a fool!
I am forever indebted to you, and I hope I realise that one day.
Your insignificant spiritual daughter,
Kishori Yogini devi dasi
