Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda and to your auspicious appearance day.
I just wanted you to know that over the past year I organized a project for completing the rank of Eagle in Scouting, and I did it at my local ISKCON temple. In this project, the parking lot lines were all repainted and some bricks and shrubs were placed around the front sign to make it appear more aesthetically pleasing. The reason I’m telling you this is because I would’ve never been able to complete this project without you. This is because of the mental fortitude which you have helped me build, in that I know I can always look to you as an example of how to persevere through whatever obstacles lie in my path. My mom always tells me when I’m nervous about something that I should “pray to Guru Mahārāja,” and that’s exactly what I do whenever a situation that I’m not comfortable with presents Itself. All in all, I’m hoping we have many more of your Vyāsa-pūjā in the future.
Your servant always,
Sudhir Shounak Dāsa,
New Jersey
