Vyāsa-pūjā 2018
Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, All glories to you dear Spiritual father... All glories to you...
Dear Guru Maharaj, it is my greatest pleasure to see you and your tolerance... When i once saw during your vyāsa-pūjā, disciples were washing your lotus feet and you seemed to be totally unaffected... That was a shocking realisation that you are so detached... I pray that you bless me so that I too may inherit your quality of total absorbption in Kṛṣṇa consciouness.
By your abundant mercy i have noticed that I had the desire to preach... but now I am fighting a cheque bounce case and I have decided to take a break from 90% preaching. I started learning and writing online exams on Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and I relished reading Prabhupāda purports. I too got first rank few times dear Guru Mahārāja along with few more devotees in Śrīmad Bhāgavatam exams by your mercy.
Now I pray and beg to your lotus feet, soon let me get fixed in devotional service without wasting a second. I want to learn matchlessly, I want to preach purely and I want to assist you unlimitedly while being an extraordinary wife and wonderful mother...
My daughter aspires to be your disciple and has been chanting 16 rounds from several years, she too wants to be a learned disciple of yours and first class preacher and be accepted by her classmates as she is... We are only dependent on your merciful glance on her...
My husband agreed to listen to reading of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam pastimes and Caitanya Caritāmṛta pastime from day before yesterday... I roll in your footdust and beg you to please bless my husband with greatest spiritual joy who does not know what is spiritual happiness... May he taste the addiction to hear about Kṛṣṇa līlā, about Bhagavad-gītā, about pastimes from Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, Caitanya Caritāmṛta and also may he get full conviction that chanting alone is fully sufficient medicine for every single problem and may he become a first class devotee and first class preacher in this life...
I beg your blessings to give me unlimited taste for learning scriptures, hearing lectures from devotees and from you which i have not been doing on a regular basis...
I lack discipline... My spiritual life is going as the wind of karma is taking right from my birth... I beg your blessings for a change... Let me stick to time table of sādhana and parallelly care for family so that nobody may get a chance to complaint about my sādhana. May I get back my money soon so that i may be able to fully indulge in preaching activities and reading and become a wonderful support for you in fulfilling your promise to Śrīla Prabhupāda and my daughter also begs same blessings once she finishes her education and I beg same blessings for my good hearted husband who is a great support for me these days.
Your servant,
Amṛta Mādhavī Devī Dāsī
