My dearest Gurumaharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet. All glories to Your Grace! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Please accept our heartfelt prayers unto the lotus feet of Lord Narasimhadeva for crossing over this tough patch of ill health.
Looking back, as far as we know, your life is filled with himalayan tests, one after the other, from all fronts and we have seen you succeeding everyone of them in flying colors. We see you remain steadfastly fixed at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada, accepting the true identity as His servant. Seeing your example , studying your life, we are inspired.
In 2006, when you visited Chile, during the reception, you spoke about your travels so far and services and the planned itinerary for the next three months. It was a race against time, mind boggling! So much in so less time!
You are global, yet personal. You never miss the details. You know about your disciples better than the computer! You care for us, pray for us, protective of us and are determined to take us back to Godhead with You, holding us by our hands!
And your heart of love keeps growing, always ready to accomodate more!
In 2014, when you were speaking on Srila Prabhupada s early pastimes in Mayapur and India over skype, I asked a question. I forgot what it is , but what remains cemented in my heart is your expression. You asked the reader who asks this question and when he told my name, you asked where I live now. When he answered that I am from Charlotte, you made an expression that you finally found me. I kept moving to different countries and hadnt been writing to you. But you had me in your thoughts and you were probably wondering, not seeing me around.
I realized that such a truly insignificant disciple also matters so much to you. As an unfailing servant of Lord Achyuta, you always protect us by your thoughts, prayers, instructions and association! We are simply fortunate!
Although I am one among half a million godsiblings, your genuine care on me makes me feel I am your spiritual daughter and have a unique place as everyone else. Just a few moments of your association is a source of great strength.
In your Christmas message, you had mentioned that ‘Now, if I have to say what I want for my Christmas day gifts, I want that my disciples and all the devotees develop their taste for chanting the holy name and their extreme laulyam for serving Lord Caitanya, Lord Krsna and entering into Their eyernal pastimes.”
Usually, Christmas gifts are always given, even if its beyond one’s capacity.
I realize I am don’t have taste for chanting or serving .How will I give you these gifts? How can I ignore what you want?
All I have in my basket is tiny amounts of Bhakti vrksha services, kids class services, book distribution, working with devotees for outreach programs .
When I searched for where I can purchase these gifts from, I saw you having these in unlimited amounts and offering them to Srila Prabhupada!
Begging you dear Gurumaharaja to bestow us with taste for chanting and extreme laulyam for devotional service so that we can serve you to please your grace.
Because of your extreme ‘laulyam’ for serving Srila Prabhupada, you always feel you have not served enough. You inspire us to be your instruments to reach out to countless suffering souls.
Whenever you speak about Srila Prabhupada, we can get a peek into the fathomless ocean of love and service and the sweet, transcendental, reciprocative, spiritual relationship between your Grace and His Divine Grace.
When someone
Can’t stand,
Can’t walk,
Can’t talk,
Can’t see,
Can’t hear,
Can’t even sit straight,
What makes him
Run a marathon,
Talk a sermon,
See through the souls,
Hear their thoughts
Make others steady
Is his unconditional love
For his Spiritual Master.
Yes,Love is blind
Blind to one’s own suffering,
Love brings bliss, just serving!
Without a trace of that love,
Dear Gurumaharaja,
How can I serve you,
Assist you in serving
Your heart’s master?
Please forgive my unlimited offenses committed daily.
Please lift me up from the quagmire of offensive chanting and offensive services.
Offering my insignificant prayers for your good health and traveling for preaching.
Eternally grateful to you for accepting me in this glorious parampara, constantly tolerating me, patiently waiting on me to become a pure devotee.
Your insignificant servants,
Lalitangi Radha devi dasi, Charlotte, USA
