Hare Kṛṣṇa, dearest Guru Mahārāja.
Please accept my most respectful obeisances to Your lotus feet.
I am Gora Nata Raj das, from Italy.
I am writing You this letter on the occasion of Your glorious Vyāsa-pūjā to thank You for Your inner strength.
Ever since I was a child in Villa Vṛndāvanaa, You have always seemed to me a good giant, in which to take refuge and feel safe.
When You raise Your arms in glorification of Lord Caitanya, You give me so much energy and I want to hug You, since I feel Your presence and You give me strength, courage and determination in engaging myself more and more in service and in the chanting of the Holy Names, to make You satisfied with me and to progress on the bhakti’s path.
I am so homesick to see You and to be in Your close association!!!
I wish You a good recovery, we always pray for You, and if Kṛṣṇa wills, we will be able to see each other again and enjoy Your association.
I try my best to follow Your instructions.
I would like to inform You that for some time now I have been staying many hours in the home temple, in front of our Deities of Śrī Śrī Rādhā Govinda, Jagannath, Subhadrā and Baladeva, Śrī Śrī Gaura Nitāi, Śrī Nrisimha Bhagavān and I speak with Them, aware of the fact that They, through You, dear Spiritual Father, are our hope, strength and refuge to overcome this difficult and unhealthy period, not so much for a virus that no longer exists, but because I see that many devotees are also losing their spiritual clarity and I feel more alone.
By the mercy of Jagannath, Subhadrā and Baladeva there are You, who with Your words help me to maintain a good conscience and always eager to improve myself.
Once in Villa Vṛndāvanaa You were climbing the stairs to go to the sannyāsī asram and I, I was 7 years old, with my mother Antaranga Śakti devī dāsī and other devotees we followed You. Seeing me having difficulty climbing the steep stairs, You handed me the end of Your stick. I held on and You helped me up the stairs.
Likewise, You are still helping me to climb the stairs to pure devotion today.
The stairs to climb are steep and difficult, but with Your safe and powerful guide, I will surely make it.
Again and again I offer You my most respectful and humble obeisances to Your lotus feet, thanking You for the infinite mercy and love that You bestow on all of us, Your spiritual children.
Your would-be servant,
Gaura Naṭarāja dāsa
