Vyāsa-pūjā 2022

Snigdha Rādhikā Devī Dāsī (Toronto - Canada)

Hare Kṛṣṇa!

My dearmost Spiritual father,

Please accept my most respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet!

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

All glories to Your Holiness!

On this auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā, we would like to offer our gratitude and homage to you.

Now you are in the mood of resuming travel around the world, and as disciples we have mixed emotions. We want you to take as much rest and be in good health always, but at the same time deeply crave to have some vapu sevā. If it's ok to be spiritually greedy, and Kṛṣṇa desires, then we are constantly praying to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava that we can get both. Praying that Lord Narasiṁhadev give you utmost protection always.

"ekaki amara, nahi paya bala,
hari-nama-sańkirtane;
tumi kṛpa kori', sraddha-bindu diya,
deho'
Kṛṣṇa-nama-dhane"

"I do not find the strength to carry on alone the saṅkīrtana of the holy name of Hari. Please bless me by giving me just one drop of faith with which to obtain the great treasure of the holy name of Kṛṣṇa."

More than ever, I am able to relate to the above song. And really this is my prayer. Because:

"Kṛṣṇa se tomara, Kṛṣṇa dite paro,
tomara sakati ache ;
ami to' kańgala, '
kṛṣṇa' 'Kṛṣṇa' boli',
dhai tava pache pache
"

"Kṛṣṇa is yours. You have the power to give Him to me. I am simply your servant running behind you shouting, "Kṛṣṇa! Kṛṣṇa!""

And that is your greatness! We really don't even have to run behind you. You are so so so merciful that you are just pouring mercy over every place you visit, every person you come in contact with, and every time you are on social media. You have made Nitāi kṛpa accesible to the inaccessible. I truly believe that it is because of you that we all are even taking up some service anf/or austerity in our lives. I am sometimes surprised by the things I say and I do, and before I can feel even slightly proud I remind myself that it is only because of you. So please this Vyāsa-pūjā, give me some more Kṛṣṇa. You have given me lots and I am still such a pathetic person, that I am asking for more. He is yours to give and so I am begging.

Being here in Niagara Falls without a temple or a center, or any sort of association has been in a sense very spiritually dehydrating. But with a little online saṅga, classes and our sadhana we have somehow pushed through. By the guidance of HH Bhaktimarga Swami Mahārāja we are finally starting our first in-person program on March 20th under ISKCON Niagara’s banner. We seek your blessings and causeless mercy so we may be of some service to the population in and around the region. If Kṛṣṇa desires, it would be our greatest pleasure to have you here so we can serve you and just by your presence this baby of a centre will flourish unlimitedly.

Last year I had prayed for you to guide my husband so he would get some clarification on his initiation situation and in a few months you accepted him as your disciple - Vimalaprema Nityānanda Das, Your very own soldiers His Grace Sanātana Sevak prabhu & His Grace Kamala Gopī mātājī helped us receive your mercy and my husband has also taken brahminical initiation. We cannot thank you enough for how much you have protected us as a family and given us so much love and care no matter our behaviour.

We welcomed a baby girl, Nadia in December 2021, and ONLY because of your mercy was she able to hear the whole of Śrīmad-bhāgavatam and Bhagavad-gītā completely before being born. This was possible only because of the motivation of another soldier of yours - His Grace Lalitangi mātājī. Nadia is probably too young to realise it now, but she is so unlimitedly fortunate to have a grandfather like you. Seeking your blessings so we can bring her up nicely as a good servant to your lotus feet in service to the missions of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Praying that I maybe able to come to Māyāpur for Damodar month this year with Nadia and personally take your blessings.

Your children (& grandchild) always,

Nadia, Snigdha Rādhikā Devī Dāsī & Vimalaprema Nityānanda Das
