Vyāsa-pūjā 2022

Bhāvānandinī devī dāsī (Ajmer, Rajasthan - India)

Dear Gurudeva,

Please accept my respectful obeisances at your divine lotus feet.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

All glories to Guru and Gaurāṅga.

It’s my great privilege to get an opportunity to Glorify ‘Your Divine’ on your Auspicious Vyāsa-pūjā. All glories to ‘YOUR DIVINE’ on your appearance day.

Although, I am not qualified to write anything but I have heard that when we concentrate on the divine qualities of Guru, it purifies us. Even a drop of it, can make us eligible to go back to Godhead. I am very thankful to ‘YOUR DIVINE’ for accepting me as your disciple.

In Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.3.25.21, qualities of a Sādhu are described,

titikṣavaḥ kāruṇikāḥ

suhṛdaḥ sarva-dehinām

ajāta-śatravaḥ śāntāḥ

sādhavaḥ sādhu-bhūṣaṇāḥ

Whenever I read this shloka, I could relate it with ‘YOUR DIVINE’. A live example in front of my eyes.

Prabhupāda explains in purport that “A sādhu means one who follows the principles of scripture and at the same time is a devotee of the Lord. His concern therefore is to enlighten people in devotional service to the Lord. That is his mercy.”

It’s Your causeless mercy that many-many fallen souls like me, are accepted by ‘YOUR DIVINE’, else we would also be moving in material world without any Goal of life. ‘YOUR DIVINE’, you are the most compassionate personality for all of us.

Prabhupāda also explains, “A devotee travels all over the country, from door to door, preaching “Be Kṛṣṇa conscious.”

During corona pandemic, ‘YOUR DIVINE’ was travelling all over world via zoom. Despite of various health issues, you are rendering uninterrupted services without any break for the pleasure of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Prabhupāda further says, “He always thinks about others. He is very tolerant and is merciful to all fallen souls. He is the well-wisher of all living entities (sarva-dehinām).”

I am always struggling with my anarthas and failing to do sādhana sincerely.

Dear Gurudeva, please bless me so that I would be able to offer services and preaching with required enthusiasm and assertiveness, by YOUR DIVINE’S mercy.

I want to Pray to Lord Narasiṁha for Your DIVINE’S healthy life.

Kindly engage me in Your service life after life.

Your indebted and fallen spiritual daughter
