My dear Spiritual Father please accept my respectful obeisances at your merciful feet on this auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā.
All glories to you!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
My dear Spiritual Father I’ve been contemplating just how much you are dedicated and focused on Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions and desire to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousnesses…. And all I could see was that you are unstoppable! The level of your dedication and love is beyond comprehension. What can I, as a frog in the well, say about the ocean?
My sincere hope is that by seeing you and taking to my heart-how you act, how you talk, how you care for so many and how you carry so many responsibilities out of genuine love, brings forth a desire to most humbly try and follow somehow in your holy footsteps.
Loads of inspiration comes from thinking about you - how expertly you bring people to Kṛṣṇa, your straight forwardness, your ability to make everyone welcome and cared for - no matter how they look, where they come from, what status they may have…
That highlighted so many flaws within my own heart and also prompted me to take action to learn and improve set of skills that will offer better quality of service.
Please bless me so I can serve you in my own small way by helping devotees become more introspective and confident to utilize their individual talents and skills in the service of Śrī Guru and Śrī Gaurāṅga as opposed of feeling lack of care and the lack of sense of individual purpose within institution.
You are teaching us how Lord Caitanya’s mercy is for everyone, and I hope to always serve, from my heart, in that mood of acceptance and non-judgement
