Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, the captain of our ship riding us back to godhead
All glories to Your Divine Grace, you are our leader in the ship who connected us and is keeping us in this Ship leading us back to lotus feet of Lord Gaurāṅga.
All glories to your determination in serving Śrīla Prabhupāda mission, which I being a fool is not able to understand
If I am not able to understand any of your glories then how will I glorify you, seeking your mercy on this auspicious occasion of Your Divine Grace 73rd Vyāsa-pūjā. Only by Your mercy will I be able a understand a drop of your unlimited qualities and thus could glorify you.
In this particular year, Your divine grace has being engaging me in many services, directing personally, I am very fortunate but somehow I couldn’t accomplish anything in your service.. I remained caught up with my ego and couldn’t be patient enough to be part of internal team in serving you.. I am not surrendered enough to your teachings and instructions Guru Mahārāja, so I am getting far away from serving you personally.
Many times, because of many situations I am losing my faith, I was saved by your affection for me, I am like a child who couldn’t understand the father was trying to run away from you, but your love for me and you are holding me still now. So, if I am doing something in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, it is purely by your mercy, and I offer all credit to you if anything positive from my service but if anything, negative I take credit for my anarthas.
Last year was very tough in many ways, but you were always there for me… I know I will cherish this as memorable in my whole life. I remember once His Holiness Rādhānatha Swami Mahārāja, told in his class, the difficult times in our Kṛṣṇa consciousness are valuable jewels we should cherish it as these are moments which has taken us closer to Kṛṣṇa.
Some of my situations where I have to inject myself some medications, I was reminded a glimpse of what You are undergoing to be with us, which you are still undergoing … I don’t know how can I do something that you don’t have to undergo any health issues, my prayer to Lord Narasiṁhadeva every day, let They never take you to any more hospital visit..
We want you guru Mahārāja, we don’t know where we will be if you are not with us, as usual this is my request, please always keep me as dust under your lotus feet. No other request from you Guru Mahārāja.
Let me not deviate from your instructions anytime and let I be always reminded of all the sacrifices You are doing to take forward Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission, let we be also part of your sacrifice, please engage me in this great sacrifice. Never let me go away from You, śāstra says Guru is like FIRE, if one tries to go too close we will be burnt but if we try to stay away from you, we will not get the warmth and we will freeze.
Let me always remain under your warmth and take every step carefully and consciously that I will become more Kṛṣṇa conscious,
Let me take every mantra sincerely with prayerful mood.
Let me take everyday in my life as a wonderful opportunity to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission.
Let me take every service as my life and soul and perform it with proper attitude to please Lord Janārdana, who is bhāva-grāhī.
Let me study every single line of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s book with full attention and devotion and apply for myself walking towards the path of pure devotioṇ
Let me aim for the Rhinoceros, Kṛṣṇa-prema and accept with proper mood whatever I could accomplish with humility
Let me remain humble in any post or service I have given understanding that I always remain servant of servant.
Let me understand your mood of service for Śrīla Prabhupāda mission and let this life and any upcoming life be only and only dedicated in serving this mission of Lord Caitanya.
Thank you very much for always caring me giving so much affection which I can never deserve.
Yours earger to serve even life after life,
Rasapriya gopika devī dāsī,
Śrīdhāma Māyāpur , India
