Hare Krishna Mahārāj,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet.
I had the great fortune to have your darshan many times during your visit to ISKCON Kolkata. During Ratha Yatra 2019, you were given your close association in the small room for the question-answer session. I had asked one question there, "what is more important, chanting or service?". While answering you triggered me with a question, "why are you separating chanting and service? Chanting is your first service!" This answer really blew my mind! I could realize my insincerity towards the Holy name and how cheaply I have taken the most benevolent gift of this age!
Mahārāj, even after your warning and instruction, I could barely increase my taste in chanting and making it my first priority. My over obsession with post, prestige, and material comforts has covered my spiritual knowledge which I have received from my Śikṣā Gurūs and devotees.
Whenever I hear your dedication to the instructions of your spiritual master, I repent and try to realize your mood, although I have hardly developed such surrender. On this auspicious occasion of your appearance day, I just want to pray to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Govinda to keep you with us for time immemorial. And I pray to you to shower your causeless mercy and eject your mood of service and surrender.
Your insignificant servant,
Tamoghna
