Hare Kṛṣṇa Gurudeva,
Please accept my respectful obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to You!
O Śrīla Gurudeva, there is a lack of words to glorify the amount of sacrifice and determination you have done to fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission. I hope that I never leave your footsteps and continue endeavoring to be of some service unto You.
Regarding my current sādhanas, I am chanting 16 rounds daily, but hope to do them with full sincerity by Your mercy. I have finished reading Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam and Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi-līlā in the association of my senior devotees and I recollect and get a deeper understanding when I listen to your lectures. Currently, I am reading Rāmāyaṇa and continuing to read Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta.
You have always been inspiring Your disciples by telling us the importance of studying Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books, and by taking up courses like Bhakti-śāstrī and Bhakti-vaibhava. You continuously remind us of the importance of following the instruction of Śrīla Prabhupāda, if not, then in the future one may fall down. I finished Bhakti-śāstrī and two units of Bhakti-vaibhava. I have not been as active as I used to be due to many family problems which have made my mind very unstable. So I hope to use this opportunity that is provided by Your mercy so that I will be able to continue to study the śāstras, take exams, and pass and implement those instructions in my life.
Dear Gurudeva, I sincerely seek Your protection and blessings so that I can be of some service unto You and Śrīla Prabhupāda. Please give me the strength to strictly attend the daily maṅgala-ārati, chant at least 16 rounds, read Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books, and not offend the Vaiṣṇavas.
Please bless my husband, my children (Maniharan and Vaishnavi, who have taken your aspirations and are preparing to take shelter under your lotus feet), and my relatives.
We are praying to Śrīla Prabhupāda and to Lord Narasiṁhadeva to bless you with the best of health and bestow you with long life.
Your insignificant servant,
Utsahamayī Rādhārāṇī Devī Dāsī Nidhi Sohni
