Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Guru Mahārāja. Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to You. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrī Śrī Gaura Nitāi.
Happy Vyāsa-pūjā 2023 Dear Guru Mahārāja!!
Dear Pappa. I’m very grateful to everything you’ve given me in life: spiritual guidance, Oversees Masters, husband and much more. I owe you my life Gurudeva. My only wish is to have my consciousness purified by Your Divine words. Only by Your Divine Grace can I get pure devotional service and obtain Kṛṣṇa’s mercy. I wish to develop that pure love and devotion and become a sincere and strong servant of you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, all our ācāryas and Śrī Śrī Gaura Nitāi, Śrī Śrī Śrī Jagannātha Baladeva Subhadrā Mayī and Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava. Please bless me on this special occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā so I can get empowerment to fulfill your mission.
I still remember when I was at the lotus building rooftop last year and it was raining a lot. You were busy with meeting, and pracāra. It was so late at night, and everyone thought there would be no Caitanya-līlā class that day but there you came suddenly like a lightning bolt, enduring the physical problems you faced and carrying Mahāprabhu in your heart, determined to spread his mission. I was surprised. It was raining heavily. You didn’t care if it was even storm but your mission to Śrīla Prabhupāda and Mahāprabhu was your first. This moved me. I even got to become a makeshift translator that day for devotees standing outside your glass room as the speaker couldn’t work. And you were checking upon me from inside whether I translated correctly, like a mother-checks if the child used the right ingredients for cooking as per instructions. It was so blissful to be up there with you everyday for a new adventure each time Gurudeva. Seeing you laugh, shiver, cry, roar and much more. Shouting loudly GAURĀṄGA GAURĀṄGA GAURĀṄGA and weeping in ecstasy. Where can we see such love? You are so strong like the mountain yet soft like a cute little baby.
I’ve been trying to carry out your instructions Śrīla Gurudeva in Melbourne by going on Harināmas, doing Deity worship like dressing, cooking and painting, singing Jagganātha Rap for attracting the youth, Western crowd preaching and so on. I’ve also made sure that I follow by four regulative principles and although my chanting is a bit unstable sometimes due to health or sevā, I try and make sure to finish my rounds and even do some extras. I’ve been also able to attend recently morning programs at the temple frequently. I’m also studying my Bhakti-vaibhava through Māyāpur Institute online.
I Keep praying for your good health every day to Narasiṁhadeva and all other deities. Additionally circumambulating Tulasī Mayī extra times for you and dedicating Ekādaśī fasting for you dear Pappa. Seeking your blessings and causeless mercy upon this fallen soul. Begging for your forgiveness to my mistakes and offences knowingly or unknowingly oh patita-pāvana Gurudeva.
Thank you for saving me from this ocean of birth and death.
Also, my husband and I seek blessings from you for his health and Kṛṣṇa conscious growth and for getting spiritual, healthy, long-live suputra for us both.
Your insignificant servant and spiritual daughter,
Haritā Mādhavī Devī Dāsī
