Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Mahārāja, please accept my respectful obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to you on this auspicious day of your Vyāsa-pūjā.
It’s my small attempt to express my genuine thoughts into words. Please forgive me if I transferred my thoughts in any offensive way.
I joined ISKCON congregation 8-9 months back. I am listening daily to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam classes by Kṛṣṇa Nāmānanda Prabhujī and by his suggestion I started joining your daily classes.
When I first joined your class, my first thought was why you are giving class in such a health condition. I felt that you should take more rest and try to recovery and maybe once a week you can take care of class.
After a few weeks I understood that it’s been routine for you for years. By going through your daily schedule I got goosebumps and I felt how selfish I am. Even in good health I’m not even trying to serve lord. I’m not even thinking in that direction.
Slowly slowly, by just watching and listening to you through classes, I got attracted towards your countless qualities. I get divine vibes when I see your sincere devotees.
When I hear about you through Nāmānanda Prabhu as he got some time to serve you personally when you were in New Jersey then that clears my mind more - he shared his experiences and how merciful and attentive you are. How you are still serving your spiritual master selflessly and setting an example of an ideal disciple.
From your daily Caitanya-caritāmṛta lectures, I’m getting nectar of Mahāprabhu’s pastimes and thro’ that I’m understanding what could be the purity of devotion. This definitely improves my daily (min. 16) rounds of japa quality, also it teaches me how I can be more sincere towards my assigned temple services, it changed my attitude to look towards any living being and yes, now I crave for more and more devotees association, that way I can progress in Kṛṣṇa consciousness path.
Honestly, I’m not even qualified to ask for anything from you but still I would like to pray- rather beg unto your divine lotus feet that shower some mercy on me and my family so that we can be worthy servants of yours.
Your aspiring insignificant servants,
