Hare Kṛṣṇa Dear Śrīla Gurudeva,
Please accept my respectful obeisances.
All Glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
All Glories to you Śrīla Gurudeva.
"On your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā, we pray for the limitless mercy of Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Rādhā Gopīnātha, Jagannātha Baladeva, Subhadrā, Gaura Nitāi, and the Guru paramparā, so you may fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda's mission with unlimited success.
Recently, Śrīla Gurudeva sent me an email inquiring about my sādhana and any challenges I might be facing. I am deeply grateful for his constant care. This reminded me of a past incident in Vṛndāvana about ten years ago.
During our visit to Vṛndāvana with my family, we visited the local temples in a rickshaw. At each stop, the rickshaw driver warned us about the monkeys, advising us not to carry any items that they might snatch, especially mobile phones, glasses, or our chanting bags. Despite this, I forgot to leave my chanting beads in the rickshaw at one temple, at the Śrī Rādhā Raman temple.
After having a wonderful darśana and prasāda, as we were returning to the rickshaw, I was suddenly attacked by a monkey. It grabbed my chanting bag, which was around my neck, and started pulling it forcefully. I held onto it, mentally insisting that I needed it and wouldn't let go. The monkey growled, showed its teeth, and pulled harder. My husband and children tried to chase it away, but the monkey was determined to snatch.
Feeling increasingly scared, I began mentally praying to Śrīla Gurudeva, pleading for the return of my chanting bag. The struggle continued for a few more minutes until suddenly, the monkey's appearance changed. It was looking up, stopped growling, retracted its teeth, and slowly released the chanting bag before running away.
At that moment, I couldn't understand what had happened. Even I tried to look in that direction but couldn't understand. It was only after some years that I realized Śrīla Gurudeva had personally intervened to protect me from the monkey. The monkey, sensing his presence, became frightened and fled.
I'd like to share our initiative to read Kṛṣṇa's pastimes to a group of non-devotee children. These children are new to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and often ask challenging questions, interpreting Kṛṣṇa's actions from a materialistic perspective. In these moments, I immediately turn to you, Śrīla Gurudeva, seeking your guidance. I consider myself merely an instrument, with you guiding and preaching to these young minds through me.
Your divine presence and protection in my life are truly humbling and inspiring, Śrīla Gurudeva. I pray for your continued blessings as I strive to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda's mission and share the glories of Lord Kṛṣṇa with others."
We had new year surprise Śrīla Gurudeva. One of our Godsister Manibhusitha Rādhā Devī Dāsī mataji brought Lord Jagannātha, Baladeva and Subhadrā deities from Purī as a gift. We are very delighted to have them added to our family members. We dress them once a week, offer whenever we cook and my prabhu does the ārati everyday. We have continued our services as we do to our Gaura Nitāi deities as mentioned by you Śrīla Gurudev
We would like to offer whatever small services we are performing with your mercy Śrīla Gurudeva.
Coordination of decorations on festivals for Altar
Read Kṛṣṇa pastimes stories to non devotees kids and started to adevī dāsī a little extra scriptures slowly.
Helping my prabhu Śrīvas Nitāi gaura dāsa with Bhakti-vṛkṣa by cooking, looking after the kids, reading books online with the group, and supporting mathajis in the group.
Two mathajis from our previous Bhakti-vṛkṣa members had taken your shelter and got initiated from you Śrīla Gurudeva on 31/12/23.
Please bless me and my family to be able to continue our services humbly without offending anyone and offer all the results to your lotus feet.
This New Year, we received a special surprise from our Godsister, Manibhusitha Rādhā Devī Dāsī mataji, who brought Lord Jagannātha, Baladev, and Subhadrā deities from Purī as a gift. We are overjoyed to welcome them into our home and consider them as cherished additions to our family members.
With your guidance and blessings, we have continued our services with great devotion. Just as we serve our Gauranitai deities, we dress Lord Jagannātha, Baladev, and Subhadrā once a week, offer them bhoga whenever we cook, and my prabhu performs their ārati every day.
Our humble services extend beyond our home altar. I coordinate decorations for festivals at the temple, share Kṛṣṇa pastime stories with non-devotee children, and have started to introduce additional scriptures gradually. Furthermore, I assist my prabhu, Śrīvāsa Nitaigaura dāsa, with Bhakti-vṛkṣa by cooking, caring for the children, leading online reading with the Bhakti-vṛkṣa group, and supporting mathajis within the group..
I am pleased to inform you that two mathajis from our previous Bhakti-vṛkṣa members had taken shelter in you Śrīla Gurudeva and were initiated by you Śrīla Gurudeva on 31/12/23. It is heartening to see your guidance transforming lives and deepening their devotion.
Śrīla Gurudeva, please bless me and my family to continue our services humbly, without causing offense to anyone, and to offer all the results of our endeavors at your lotus feet. Your mercy is our strength, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve under your divine guidance.
Jaiii Śrīla Gurudeva
