Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. On this auspicious day, I offer my heartfelt gratitude at your lotus feet. I am eternally indebted to you for accepting me as your disciple despite my disqualifications and shortcomings. I was wandering within the universe through 8.4 million species being covered by dark ignorance and you have mercifully given me shelter at your lotus feet and the opportunity to serve the Supreme Lord. I can never pay this debt but only aspire to serve you in the mood of servant and servant by trying to help you fulfill the instructions Śrīla Prabhupāda has given you.
It inspires me a lot the way you are executing your services to Śrīla Prabhupāda in such an advanced age and that too with immense physical inconveniences. You are constantly inspiring your disciples to read sastras by systematically completing the sastric degrees like Bhakti Vaibhava and Bhakti Vedānta just like an acharya, who teaches by his example. I pray to the Supreme Lord that he keeps you in good health so that conditioned souls like us benefit from your compassion.
Although you are managing so many responsibilities simultaneously, still you are taking care of your disciples very meticulously by sending monthly messages, forming a devotee care team, Vaiṣṇava marriage bureau, etc. Recently I received a message from you regarding the establishment of Śrī Caitanya Pādapithas in different pastime places. I was highly inspired by this and tried to contribute in my capacity. The way you are spreading the glories of Lord Caitanya proves that indeed you are “Gaur-Dhan-Jan” as confirmed by Śrīla Prabhupāda himself.
I would consider my life successful if I could serve you with even a drop of the dedication you have for the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda. And this is not possible without your mercy. Therefore on this auspicious day of your divine appearance, I pray to your lotus feet to bless me so that I can keep serving you eternally with utmost sincerity and dedication.
Your unworthy spiritual son,
Ruparaja Rāma Dāsa
