Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyāsa-pūjā day, I feel immense gratitude to you for accepting me as your disciple. I feel extremely unqualified to have you, who are so pure, so great, so merciful, and so dear to Kṛṣṇa, as my spiritual master. I just take it as your causeless mercy on this conditioned soul (me).
Śrīla Prabhupāda has said that Kṛṣṇa is the property of his pure devotees, and that only they can deliver Him to other devotees. In this way, I feel that Kṛṣṇa, and especially Nitāi-Gaura have been captured by you by your unconditional devotional service. Their Lordships belong to you and you can deliver them to anyone whom you see fit. Therefore, I will strive with all my heart to please you, so that you may cast the mercy of the most munificent Nitāi and Gaurasundara on me and then my life will become perfect.
By your mercy, I can get the mercy of Nityānanda Prabhu, and by his mercy, I can get the mercy of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu. And then I may be able to relish the confidential nectar of the pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Śrīmatī Rādhārani.
Śrīla Prabhupāda has said that you are an eternal associate of Caitanya Mahāprabhu. This fact is clearly observable from your life. Without being an intimate associate and servitor of Lord Caitanya, how is it possible to be as merciful and compassionate as you are? You are an ocean of mercy and the store house of Kṛṣṇa Prema! There is no end to your compassion and no limit to the spiritual bliss and ecstasy that can be obtained by associating with your vapu and vāṇī. Ānander sīmā nāi!
One speck of dust from your lotus feet can deliver the whole universe, but only those who sincerely strive to assist you in your service to Śrīla Prabhupāda can take advantage of this.
Guru Mahārāja, it pains my heart to see you in so much physical discomfort. You have taken the resultant actions of your disciples’ sinful activities upon yourself and are thus having to face this circumstance. Yet still you continue initiating disciples and giving out the mercy of Nitāi-Gaura to everyone you meet. Who can fathom your glories which are unlimited?
I pray sincerely to Rādhā-Mādhava Aṣṭa sakhī vṛnda, Pañca-tattva and Prahlāda Narasiṁhadeva to kindly ease your material pains and discomforts so that you may more peacefully continue to fulfill the instructions Śrīla Prabhupāda gave you.
Your insignificant disciple,
Cāru Gaurāṅga Dāsa (Dīkṣā),
