Vyāsa-pūjā 2024

Anuttama Rādhikā devī dāsī (Abentheuer - Germany)

Dear Śrīla Jayapatākā Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you.

You entered the core of my heart and has driven away the darkness. In service to you my heart rejoices.

You are getting more and more disciples and you successfully take care of them all. But even in these difficult times, disciples should not accumulate new karma and thereby place undue stress on you. Because of your disciple’s bad karma, you have to endure untold suffering and we can only overcome it by making more effort in sādhana, doing more tulasī-pūjā and praying seriously. Please forgive us our offences.

Although I sometimes think that what you say during the Caitanya classes is nothing new, every time I am completely captured and absorbed, as if I were hearing about it for the first time. Lord Caitanya’s message and līlās are always about immersion in a world that is completely different from our material world. And in every class there is another chance to actually understand this world and become aware of how unique and - although undeserved - generous this special mercy is.

How would we be able to understand Kṛṣṇa in His form as Lord Caitanya, in the mood of Rādhārāṇī, if You would not take us into Your way of understanding. You give us eyes for what Śrīla Prabhupāda opened to the world. And in service to you our heart rejoices.

Your own service attitude reminds me on King Rāntideva who, on the verge of death from thirst, gave his last bit of water to a Caṇḍāla and his dogs, with folded hands. You continually give all your hours, minutes and seconds of every day to others, representing Śrīla Prabhupāda and Mahāprabhu’s mercy. Your saffron-colored armor plays around your form in ever new waves and folds, and they appear as if they were proud to adorn you. Your determination to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda and bestow Your mercy on all of us by Your mercy, is as big and strong as the Himalayas.

You entered the core of my heart and has driven away the darkness. I am eternally grateful and indebted to you. Please always let me love and serve you.

Your insignificant servant of your servants,

Anuttama Rādhikā Devī Dāsī
