Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to your auspicious appearance day.
Dear Guru Mahārāja, like many many devotees, I owe you many, many thanks.
Thank you for giving me first initiation last year at the most auspicious place - in Śrī Māyāpur Dhāma, on the most auspicious day of Nityānanda Trayodaśī, showing me an eternal place at your lotus feet.
Thank you for your complete commitment to spiritually uplift your disciples. You have also created a network on the Internet through which your disciples can reach you and get quick answers to their questions and where your lectures are available.
An example of your tirelessness is that once you returned home to Māyāpur sick after a medical treatment, where the devotees organized a welcome program for you. After that a thought “Guru Mahārāja must be tired, he is not giving class on the Cc. today”. Therefore, I didn’t even go up to your residence, unfortunately. The next day I was shocked to see that the recording of the evening class was on Facebook. Of course, I “knew” about your strength because of your faith in Śrīla Prabhupāda, but this incident was a great lesson for me because of direct experience.
I thank you that through your answers, even the most difficult karmas and misunderstandings dissolve and transform into transcendental understanding, because of your gaura-prema. This gives transcendental knowledge, an eye with which the disciple can gradually see the value of unmotivated love for Śrīla Prabhupāda, Rādhā-Mādhava and Pañca-tattva.
Development is only possible because you transmit my meagre spiritual desire and even ennoble it with your mercy.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 11. 26. 34 “My devotees bestow divine eyes, whereas the sun allows only external sight, and that only when it is risen in the sky. My devotees are one’s real worshipable Deities and real family; they are one’s own self, and ultimately they are nondifferent from Me.”
Following Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions, you are constantly distributing his books and inspiring everyone to do the same. It became clear to me how dear this is to you, - I felt the spiritual connection with you most strongly during the Śrīla Prabhupāda marathon. Through this, you also taught me about my “dāsānu dāsa” position, which connects me to you.
Dear Guru Mahārāja, thank you very much for these gifts. I ask you to remove all obstacles from my heart that separate me from you, Śrīla Prabhupāda, Pañca-tattva, Māyāpur-dhāma.
Your insignificant servant,
Caitanya Jagajjīvana dāsa (dīkṣā)
