Hare Kṛṣṇa dear Gurudeva! Daṇḍavat Praṇāma!
I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet on the auspicious occasion of your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā celebration. All glories to your lotus feet! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
I am a fallen soul who is not qualified to do glorification of such an exalted devotee like you who has dedicated his whole life for devotional services as per instructions given by Śrīla Prabhupāda, your spiritual master. Yet I am trying this for my purification. Please forgive me for my mistakes. Guru Mahārāja, with Śrīla Prabhupāda’s empowerment you are spreading this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement throughout the world. Despite of your bad health, you are always applying your best efforts to help Gaurāṅga’s mission. You have offered each and every moment of your life to fulfill the orders of your spiritual master through service, body, mind and soul to spread Kṛṣṇa consciousness throughout this world. Dear Guru Mahārāja, my spiritual father, I am totally incapable of writing anything for such an exalted paramahaṁsa like you… by your causeless mercy, you have taken me in your shelter. You are instructing me by your divine words everyday, every moment. . .
I always remember that day when I first met you. I got your blessings and mercy. I always remember my initiation day in 2011 in Bangalore, I took a commitment of chanting 16 rounds and following four regulative principles. Though I have been chanting for many years now, I always felt that challenge to train my mind to remove all laziness and concentrate on my sādhana. I would never be able to progress because there are many obstacles in my mind. I am struggling to give up my deep-rooted habits. Please help with your causeless mercy to overcome them Guru Mahārāja. I always prioritize MY problems and neglect my sādhana. Whenever I am spiritually low I just pray at your lotus feet for spiritual strength to overcome my problems. Still, I am so fallen that I tend to commit offences many times. Initially I used to feel that I am most insignificant soul struggling with material problems. But when I see you Guru Mahārāja I get a lot of inspiration. In spite of your health and very busy schedule, you are always looking forward to helping conditioned souls like me and seeing how you can uplift them.
I’m truly blessed and most fortunate to have found a spiritual master like you. Dear Guru Mahārāja, I am seeking your blessings, (though undoubtedly, its always there). . . So that I can serve you with all sincerity and dedication. . .
I have now given IDC exam and want to pursue Bhakti-śāstri as you always instruct in your lectures. Please give your mercy so I can complete this course and study further.
I am currently taking online classes for children and Śrīla Prabhupāda ‘s book reading classes in Koramangala Bangalore. I really hope to take more active services like Deity dressing, book distribution, classes etc. and engage myself in more activities that pleases you, Guru Mahārāja.
I am grateful to my śikṣā-gurus His Grace Vijaya Veṇugopāla Prabhu and Her Grace Prema Padminī Mātājī for their mentoring and continuous guidance. I am grateful to all my senior devotees for being there for me at times of need. I beg for your mercy Gurudeva, so I can learn and do what will make you happy.
Please bless me dear Gurudeva so I can always be an atom at your divine lotus feet and serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission with my utmost ability.
Thank you so much Guru Mahārāja for inspiring and guiding me always.
Your spiritual daughter,
Raṅgavallī Gopī Devī Dāsī
