Dear Spiritual master father,
Please accept my most respectful obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda and you and your nectarine lotus feet.
I awkwardly write this offering for your Vyāsa-pūjā with the desire to express how admirable your service to Śrīla Prabhupāda is, caring for his disciples, especially in this year you have shown great strength in carrying out all the instructions assigned to you by Śrīla Prabhupāda and you have not failed to give us the mercy of your association for even a single day. I don’t have the right words to express my gratitude for that.
I was recently translating a ceremony for Śravaṇa Utsava Melā 2024 and I came across some of the letters that Śrīla Prabhupāda wrote to you, so I have no doubt that he is very satisfied with everything you have done and continue to do to fulfill and develop this instructions.
In the course of Bhakti-vaibhava canto 1, we have repeatedly seen the importance of learning, listening and following the example of the bona fide spiritual master, you preach by example in the entire world and give us the strength to continue our devotional service the best I can. When I feel that my strength is failing or that Māyā is testing me strongly, I only think of your dedication, your words and everything that you must tolerate physically in order to give us your association in this material world.
As you yourself have already said, the connection with the spiritual master is a connection from Heart-to-Heart and I, both asleep and awake, am grateful for the mercy you has given me by allowing me to be your spiritual daughter.
Your servant and spiritual daughter,
Līlāmayī Gaurāṅgī Devī Dāsī
