Hare Kṛṣṇa, dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances.
All glories to His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, Śrīla Gurudeva!
Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Today, on the occasion of your auspicious appearance day, I pray to Śrī Śrī Prahlāda-Narasiṁhadeva, Śrī Śrī Pañca-tattva, Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Mādhava Aṣṭa-sakhī-vṛnda, and Śrīla Prabhupāda for your good health.
Gurudeva, you are like an ocean of mercy, who spreads that mercy to each and every fallen soul who comes in contact with you.
Just like Caitanya Mahāprabhu made all people and animals into devotees...
Just like Śrīla Prabhupāda converted all hippies into happies...
Dear Gurudeva, you transform all the fallen souls into devotees and spread the mercy of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu and Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Dear Gurudeva, by your mercy, I am now trying to be engaged in Kṛṣṇa conscious activities throughout my day. I do a lot of reading. I used to struggle to read before, but now, by your mercy, I have gained so much interest and am able to preach whatever I have read and understood—by your mercy.
As I read, I realize the importance of association and service in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, and now I do my service consciously, to the best of my ability.
Gurudeva, by your mercy, please keep my family—Vinod Aravindan (my husband), my daughter, and myself—always in the association of devotees and in the service of Mahāprabhu.
Please bless Vinod and Tanisha to progress in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Please bless me, Gurudeva, so that I can serve you, Gaurāṅga, and the devotees nicely, and overcome my anarthas.
Wishing you a very happy and blissful Vyāsa-pūjā, dear Guru Mahārāja!
Your most fallen servant,
Kalpataru Jāhnavā Devī Dāsī
