Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Bhaktisiddhānta Swami (New Delhi - East of Kailash - India)

Dearest Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda on this most auspicious Vyāsa-pūjā day.

Thank you for your kind letter in response to the small report I have given you; you are securing an amazing army amongst your senior and dedicated congregational members. Many serve you in various fields—congregational preaching, book distribution, and the holy dhāmas.

Just like Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are able to connect with and nourish a wide spectrum of individuals in many sectors—all the while maintaining a personal relationship amidst the complicated stage dramas of the present material field.

Sadly, the Kali-yuga commotions distract so many from the path. Even within noble devotional projects or asset acquisitions, a sacrifice of ‘personalism’ arises—that very spirit which attracted us in the early days, the spark that inspired us to join and dedicate our lives.

But your humanism and relationalism encourage us to ‘make a history’ rather than become a ‘victim of history’. You are inviting us to enter the devotional fold, to transform ourselves and affect those around us—whether it be toddlers, saṅkīrtana teams, or the mass congregation.

By your grace, we have found a ‘unity in diversity’ as we chant and distribute the holy names according to our capacity.

By your example, we have found purpose and mission. However, despite the histories or defeats, please empower us to swim within the true paramparā currents, and not become sidelined by any form of rāga-dveṣa, sectarian narrow-mindedness, or ambitions that would separate us from the Lord.

This is the Jayapatākā victory flag which you have flown; please allow us to do the same.

Best wishes on this day,

Your servant,
Bhaktisiddhānta Swami
