Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Kṛṣṇamohinī Gopī Devī Dāsī (Gaurāṅga Deśa - Middle East)

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances at Your lotus feet.
All glories to You!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

On this most auspicious day of Your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and joy, reflecting on the boundless mercy You have showered upon this unworthy soul. Your appearance in this world is a divine gift, a beacon of hope for countless fallen jīvas like me, lost in the darkness of ignorance and entangled in the relentless cycle of birth and death. You are the embodiment of compassion, the spiritual father who selflessly guides us back to the lotus feet of Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.

Dearest Guru Mahārāja, Your life is a testament to unwavering devotion, tireless service, and unconditional love for the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda. You have dedicated every moment of Your existence to spreading the holy names of the Lord and uplifting the conditioned souls of this world. Your teachings, Your sacrifices, and Your divine example have become the foundation of my spiritual journey. Without Your guidance, I would be adrift in the ocean of material existence, without direction or purpose.

This past year has been filled with profound realizations and spiritual growth, all made possible by Your causeless mercy. Yet, it has also been a year of immense challenges for my family and me, both mentally and physically. We have been tested in ways that have pushed us to our limits, and at times, it has felt as though the weight of the world is upon our shoulders.

Amidst these trials, one of the most beautiful and joyous moments of this year was celebrating the 25th wedding anniversary of my parents. It was a milestone that filled our hearts with gratitude and reminded us of the importance of faith, love, and commitment. Despite the challenges they have faced, their dedication to each other and to Kṛṣṇa consciousness has been an inspiration to us all. Their union, blessed by Your guidance and the mercy of Śrīla Prabhupāda, has been a source of strength and stability for our family. We celebrated this occasion with heartfelt prayers and gratitude to Kṛṣṇa for keeping them together and guiding them through the ups and downs of life.

My beloved mother, Her Grace Ratirūpiṇī Jāhnavā Devī Dāsī, has been battling breast cancer, and this past year has been particularly challenging for her. The treatments have taken a toll on her body, but her spirit remains unbroken, her faith unwavering. Your blessings and prayers have been a source of immense strength and solace for her. Despite her physical struggles, she remains energized and engaged in serving You and the mission of Śrīla Prabhupāda. She often reminds us,

“Guru Mahārāja has been enduring so much for years now,
undergoing unimaginable hardships for the sake of spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
My condition is insignificant in comparison.”

Her words are a testament to the profound impact You have had on her life, inspiring her to see her struggles as an opportunity to deepen her surrender to Kṛṣṇa and her service to You.

My father, who has always been the pillar of strength for our family, has been working tirelessly to provide for us. He hardly has any time to rest, and it pains me to see him so burdened. I pray that You bless him with the strength and energy to continue his duties without exhaustion. I hope that one day, in this lifetime, I can give back to him in some way, to ease his burdens and show him the gratitude he deserves.

My brother, too, has been facing his own struggles. He has been trying to complete his studies, but one obstacle after another seems to arise, delaying his progress. It has been disheartening for him, and I can see how it weighs on his mind. Please bless him with focus, determination, and good fortune to overcome these challenges and successfully complete his education.

As for myself, I must confess that I have been feeling overwhelmed and lost. Navigating life lately has been incredibly challenging and confusing. I have been questioning myself, my decisions, and even my faith at times. It feels as though I have no outlet, no way to release the weight of everything I am carrying. In these moments of doubt and confusion, I turn to You, dear Guru Mahārāja, for guidance and solace. Please bless me with clarity, strength, and unwavering faith. Help me to remember that Kṛṣṇa is always in control and that Your shelter is my ultimate refuge.

Dearest Guru Mahārāja, Your selfless dedication to the well-being of Your disciples, even while enduring Your own physical challenges, is a constant reminder of the depth of Your compassion. Your life is a living example of how to face adversity with grace, faith, and unwavering devotion to the Lord. You have taught us that true strength lies not in the absence of suffering but in the ability to transcend it through the power of bhakti.

I pray that You bless our entire family so that we may continue our sādhana and serve You better. Please grant us the strength to remain steadfast in our devotion, even in the face of life’s challenges. Help us to see every difficulty as an opportunity to grow closer to Kṛṣṇa and to deepen our surrender to His will.

On this sacred occasion of Your 75th Vyāsa-pūjā, I offer my deepest gratitude for Your unconditional love and mercy. You are the embodiment of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission, the living proof of the transformative power of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. May Your lotus feet forever remain my shelter, and may Your boundless compassion continue to illuminate the path for all Your disciples.

I pray for the health and well-being of my mother, father, brother, and our entire family, and for the strength to continue serving You and Śrīla Prabhupāda with unwavering faith and devotion. May Your life be filled with divine health, boundless energy, and unending joy as You continue to lead us back to Godhead.

Happy Vyāsa-pūjā, dear Guru Mahārāja!
All glories to You on this momentous occasion!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Your eternally indebted daughter,
Kṛṣṇa-mohinī Gopī Devī Dāsī
