Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Sarveśvara Śrī Caitanya Dāsa (Chelyabinsk - Russia)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Your Holiness, our infinitely respected and beloved Jayapatākā Svāmī Guru Mahārāja,

With great joy, I offer You my respectful and humble obeisances.
All glories to His Divine Grace, the Founder-Ācārya of ISKCON, Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Swāmī Prabhupāda!
All glories to Your Divine Grace!

On this auspicious day, I take the opportunity to express my deep admiration for Your touching divine qualities, which attract my heart to the spiritual world of service to Śrī Guru and Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi!

Your sincere service and Your entire life are an inspiring example to me of a truly happy life. By Your mercy, I feel happiness, complete satisfaction, and joy as I progress toward my goal—pure devotional service.

I believe that Your divinely radiant mercy has performed a miracle, transforming a low-born failure into a happy, cheerful, and contented person. To my surprise, I have even begun to notice admiration in the eyes of those around me.

The material sufferings that once tormented my mind no longer dare to enter my heart, which is illuminated by Your presence.

All my senses, mind, and intelligence are content, and I am happy to have the opportunity to serve You.

My greatest joy has become the distribution of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books on the streets of major cities, particularly in Chelyabinsk, where I currently live and work. By Your causeless mercy, I go out with books every Saturday as part of the Weekend Saṅkīrtana program. On weekdays, after work, I walk with Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books through the main street of Chelyabinsk, crossing the central square. During these moments, I marvel at how You are distributing these books, using my body as an instrument. This fills me with ecstasy. Sometimes, I even have to calm my emotions to allow You to continue peacefully. Most of the people I meet are kind and friendly. Some express admiration, gratitude, and appreciation for You, dear Guru Mahārāja.

Since receiving initiation by Your mercy, in just 20 days, I have been able to distribute:

  • 6 Mahā-big books

  • 3 Big books

  • 10 Medium books

  • 13 Small books of Śrīla Prabhupāda

By Your mercy, I hold a leadership position in the Weekend Saṅkīrtana program. This is a very close-knit satsaṅga of gṛhasthas who love distributing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. When needed, I substitute for the leader of this program in Chelyabinsk, Vāmana Balipriya Prabhu, and act as his right hand. I also manage the book table at Sunday programs and handle reporting and inventory at the Chelyabinsk BBT warehouse.

Our saṅga meets every Saturday at devotees’ homes, where we chant kīrtanas and read books about saṅkīrtana. Currently, we are reading Our Family Business by Vaiśeṣika dāsa. Afterward, we honor wonderful Kṛṣṇa-prasādam together and then go out to distribute Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books.

At least twice a month, I participate in cooking feasts to please Their Lordships Śrī Śrī Nitāi-Gaura Rasabihārī, the central Deities of Chelyabinsk. During Sunday programs and festivals, we distribute 200–300 portions of delicious prasādam. Whenever possible, I also help in the cleanliness department and enthusiastically assist with festival preparations—using my body to carry various items and decorations for the pleasure of the Lord and His devotees.

Since the moment You so mercifully granted me initiation into bhakti-yoga, I have felt truly wonderful. My deepest desire has been fulfilled. I am infinitely grateful to Kṛṣṇa for giving me You.

Following the instructions of Your office, I quickly traveled to Omsk where, for the pleasure of the Lord, on the appearance day of His Holiness Bhaktisiddhānta Gosvāmī Mahārāja, a fire-yajña was performed in honor of our initiation.

Every morning, at home, before my altar of Pañca-tattva, I chant maṅgala-ārati and guru-vandana, followed by bhajanas for Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva and Tulasī Mahārāṇī. I truly appreciate the way You have taught me to chant japa—I am not the only one who has noticed how wonderful it has become.

My favorite scripture is Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, which I have read up to the Tenth Canto. Right now, I am reading the chapter Description of Autumn, and I can’t wait to begin again from the start. While reading Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, I attempt to chant the Sanskrit verses—and by Your mercy, I am able to do so.

This year, I purchased a full set of Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta and have begun studying it in the association of devotees.

I am happy to serve You.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Your eternal servant,
