Hare Kṛṣṇa, Guru Mahārāja,
Daṇḍavat praṇāma.
All glories to you, all glories to your auspicious appearance day!
Time may have a limit, but when it comes to your mercy, there is no limit. You accepted this fallen soul and showered your love, your mercy.
Time may stop, but you are unstoppable.
The place where your lotus feet have touched is more than a tīrtha, a sacred pilgrimage site.
Oh Gurudeva, only you—only you—can release us from this material cage.
The calling of your name, Jayapatākā, is sweeter than the chirping of birds.
I will simply pick a flower and bow my head—because I cannot glorify you in words.
Every day, you come and give classes—even though your health doesn’t allow it—
But your love for all living beings is so deep that you don’t even think of yourself.
My dear Guru Mahārāja,
Please bless me so that I may serve you by helping fulfill Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions.
Your insignificant servant,
Anantarūpa Rāma dāsa
