Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Pītāmbara Hari Dāsa (Mayapur - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of Your lotus feet, dear Grandfather Jayapatākā Mahārāja!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Your grandson, Ānanda Purī Dāsa from Saint Petersburg, Russia, is writing to You.

I would like to begin this letter with gratitude—gratitude for Your incredibly kind, warm, compassionate, and caring disciple, our Guru—His Grace Caitanya Candra Cāraṇa Prabhu.

oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ

It is only by the mercy of Guru that we progress on this path. Where would we be without our paramparā? Where would we be without Your blessings? Spiritual progress happens primarily through blessings. I have realized this through my own experience and through the experiences of my godbrothers and godsisters.

Listening to You always immerses us in the spiritual world—the world of Caitanya-caritāmṛta. And gradually, Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi begin to manifest in our lives.

Thank You for the priceless gift of devotional service, which opens our hearts and grants us true life.

Please bless us so that we may continue to engage in bhakti and always, everywhere, and under all circumstances, remember Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

You set an inspiring example of spiritual life and unwavering determination for all of us. Seeing You is a great mercy that leaves an imprint on one’s heart for a lifetime.

I hope that, if not in person, then at least in my dreams, You will mercifully strike me on the head with Your sacred stick.

Your grandson,
Ānanda Purī Dāsa
