Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Pāvana Gauraprema Dāsa (Gaurāṅga Deśa - Middle East)

My dear Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda, all glories to you.

Gurudeva, on this most auspicious occasion of your 76th appearance day, I offer my heartfelt prayers to Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, Śrī Nṛsiṁhadeva, and Śrī Pañca Tattva to bestow upon you good health, strength, and many more years to uplift countless conditioned souls like myself.

By your mercy, I was able to reside in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur from January 2021 and had the opportunity to serve in your office from July 2021 to March 2023, coordinating initiations and maintaining the devotee database. However, I left your office in April 2023 and later left Māyāpur in July 2023. Looking back, I deeply feel that my departure was due to my offenses at the lotus feet of the Vaiṣṇavas. With great remorse, I sincerely beg for your forgiveness and pray that I never commit such offenses again.

I have now relocated back to Dubai with my family and am engaged in various services in both Gaurāṅgadeśa Yātrā (GDY) and Dāmodaradeśa Yātrā (DDY). In GDY, I am serving the Deities, assisting in yātrā donation collections, and helping devotees embark on pilgrimage to the holy dhāmas. In November 2024, I was blessed to organize a group of 30 devotees for Purī Parikramā, and we also visited Remuṇā-dhāma, staying at the ISKCON temple there. By your mercy, all the devotees relished the parikramā and the darśana of Śrī Kṣīra-cora Gopīnātha.

Currently, I am preparing for the upcoming Navadvīpa Parikramā, bringing a group of 25 devotees from GDY to join the South India group. Additionally, I am planning a trip to the Divya Deśam temples in South India with hopes of bringing 25 to 30 devotees. During these yātrās, I take care of all the devotees' needs—transport, accommodation, prasādam, and overall well-being—offering this service as an offering unto your lotus feet. Gurudeva, please bless me so that I may inspire more devotees to visit Māyāpur, Vṛndāvana, and Purī-dhāma. Without your blessings, I am unable to continue this service.

Besides this, I am taking a few classes for new devotees under the Bhakti-vṛkṣa program, guiding them in their Kṛṣṇa consciousness. I am also conducting youth classes, prabhu’s classes, and reading Caitanya-caritāmṛta with a small group twice a week.

Although I constantly remember the Deities of Māyāpur, my mind often remains in Māyā. I chant, but my mind wanders throughout the universe. While I find joy in my services here in Dubai, I still feel disturbed being away from the dhāma.

Gurudeva, you know well that I am the most fallen and sinful. But your mercy is unlimited, and only by that mercy can I continue on this path. I beg you to kindly bless me so that I develop some taste for chanting the holy names and hearing Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Please bless me with guru-bhakti, so that I may truly serve you with sincerity.

On this auspicious day of your appearance, I pray for your blessings so that I may advance in my Kṛṣṇa consciousness and serve you and Śrīla Prabhupāda with devotion.

Your most insignificant servant,
Pāvana Gauraprema Dāsa
