Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Vinitā Gāndharvikā Devī Dāsī (Houston - United States of America)

MY DEAREST FATHER AND SPIRITUAL MASTER,

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate jayapatāka svāmin iti nāmine
nama ācārya-pādāya nitāi-kṛpā-pradāyine
gaura-kathā-dhāma-dāya nagara-grāma-tāriṇe

Hare Kṛṣṇa!

Please accept my respectful obeisances unto Your divine lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda and all the paramparā-ācāryas. All glories to Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva—and my heartfelt prayers for Your good health, so that You may continue to fulfill Your mission of serving Śrīla Prabhupāda as You so deeply desire.

Guru Mahārāja, we all know how many sacrifices You have made—and are still making—for our sake, so that we may understand the essence of spiritual life. You are always teaching by Your practical example, and this constantly inspires us.

This 76th Vyāsa-pūjā is an occasion that gives us the opportunity to serve You more and more. May we develop the same mood of service that You have in fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions. In every class You give, there are so many instructions to help us advance in our spiritual journey. I always aspire to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda with the same enthusiasm that You exemplify.

I have no good qualities, yet You have mercifully accepted me as Your disciple. I feel myself most fortunate to have a guru like You. But I am so fallen that I can’t even call myself most fallen. Dear Guru Mahārāja, I know no one but You as my greatest well-wisher. I simply want to become Your sincere servant and serve You eternally. But this is not possible without Your mercy. So all I can do is beg—please, please bestow some mercy upon me. Kindly bless me so that I always improve myself in following Your instructions and never trouble You in any way.

Gurudeva, most confidential servitor of Śrī Gaurāṅga, greatest soldier in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s army—Your greatness is beyond the grasp of ordinary living entities.

You can inspire anyone to practice Kṛṣṇa consciousness. I am under the shelter of my most magnanimous spiritual father—what more could I ask?

It is my great fortune that Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu chose to deliver His mercy through Your Divine Grace.

My life will be successful if I can understand even a drop of Your mood to serve Śrīla Prabhupāda.

If I could develop even a speck of the love that You have for Śrīla Prabhupāda, that would be the greatest achievement of my life.

It is a lifetime’s blessing if You continue to be merciful upon me and allow me to serve You despite all my anarthas.

I stand before You in awe at the causeless good fortune I have received in becoming Your disciple. I wonder what sukṛti I may have accumulated to receive this inconceivable and merciful opportunity. “Thank You” is such a tiny word compared to the depth of gratitude I feel for Your mercy. Being Your fallen disciple, I struggle at every moment to pick myself up and go on—and the only reason I do is You, dear Gurudeva. You are my sole motivation, for I feel so indebted to You for the ocean of mercy You have showered upon this insignificant soul.

On this most auspicious day of Your appearance, I beg for Your special blessings.

Please remove my pride, my foolishness, my anger, and all other demoniac propensities within me.

Only by Your blessings can I hope to be of some use in Your service to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, we beg for Your forgiveness—for any offenses committed knowingly or unknowingly. Please allow us to remain as insignificant particles of dust at Your lotus feet. We humbly beg for Your blessings so that we may continue and increase our services for the pleasure of the Vaiṣṇavas, Your Divine Grace, Śrīla Prabhupāda, and the entire guru-paramparā.

Jaya Śrīla Guru Mahārāja!

Your insignificant spiritual daughter,
