Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Baleśvara Bālājī Dāsa (Bangalore - Sri Sri Narasimha Giridhari Mandir - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa! Guru Mahārāja!

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, Guru Mahārāja!
All glories to Śrī Śrī Gaura-Nitāi!
Please accept our obeisances unto your lotus feet.

Guru Mahārāja, we are very blessed to have this opportunity to make an offering to your most divine and transcendental lotus feet! We feel so fortunate to be offering our prayers on this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā.

Guru Mahārāja, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu says in Caitanya-caritāmṛta:

harer nāma harer nāma
harer nāmaiva kevalam
kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva
nāsty eva gatir anyathā
(CC Madhya 6.242)

In the same way, your lotus feet are my only eternal shelter. There is no other way.

Dear Gurudeva, you are so merciful, so compassionate, so inspirational, full of a serving attitude, enthusiastic, and full of transcendental knowledge—so much more than I can describe. I may not know everything about you, but in the association of our Māta-jī and Prabhu-jī, I always hear of your glories. They very honestly and sincerely follow your instructions and mood, and from them, we can understand your divine nature and mood.

Guru Mahārāja, when I first joined Kṛṣṇa consciousness, I did not know anything. But by your mercy, slowly, day by day, I am learning how to practice bhakti. A year ago, when you came to Bangalore and were hospitalized, I got the opportunity to serve you, Gurudeva. I truly felt your mercy and compassion for others. Even while struggling with your bodily condition, you were teaching us by your example that you are not this body—you are a soul. That inspired us deeply.

Guru Mahārāja, in my first homage, I prayed for your mercy to preach to Tamil-speaking people. And this year, by your causeless mercy and the efforts of devotees, we have started a Tamil Bhakti-vṛkṣa. I have no qualifications, but whatever I have received is simply by your mercy.

I humbly beg you, Guru Mahārāja, please give me the strength and knowledge to preach more. We want to bring more devotees into Kṛṣṇa consciousness. We want to serve you continuously and offenselessly. I am still struggling with my anarthas, but whatever situations arise, I want to control myself and remain steady. Please bless me with this strength, Gurudeva. I want to serve you selflessly and without offenses.

If I have made any mistakes, I know you are always forgiving. That is your causeless mercy.

This year is very special for our family because, by your mercy, we invited Gaura-Nitāi deities into our home. You are showing us unlimited mercy, Gurudeva. Please bless us with more opportunities to serve your lotus feet.

By your mercy, I am also doing Bhakti-vaibhava, and I wish to continue and deeply understand it.

Guru Mahārāja, please bless us so we may grow in our spiritual journey.

Thank you so much, Guru Mahārāja.

Always your servants of the servants,
