Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Bṛhat Gaurahari Dāsa (London - South Norwood - United Kingdom)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Śrīla Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at Your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.

On this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā, I sincerely pray to Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva for your health and the strength to continue fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s divine mission.

There are no words sufficient to glorify your vast achievements, but one aspect that continuously inspires me is your unwavering surrender to Śrīla Prabhupāda. Through your life, you embody the profound truth that we are not this body, but the eternal spirit soul. You are living proof of that reality.

I am always in awe of your boundless energy and unyielding determination in preaching. Your innovative use of technology in Kṛṣṇa’s service and your extraordinary ability to inspire devotees across the world never cease to amaze me. Your deep compassion and tireless dedication to your disciples—always making time for us amidst immense responsibilities—often leaves me wondering how such selfless service is even humanly possible.

Even after 15 years of knowing your Divine Grace, I remain as inspired as ever by your example.

This year marks a decade since you mercifully granted me my first initiation in 2014, in Birmingham, UK. Over these years, through your encouragement and that of your disciples, I have been able to offer a small portion of my time, energy, and resources in service to the Lordships. I humbly pray for your continued blessings so that I may remain engaged in devotional service and strengthen my sādhana to contribute more meaningfully to this movement.

I was especially moved by your response in a recent Q&A session when someone asked,
“When can we worship the Deities?”
And you replied,

“The moment you wake up in the morning.”

Despite the many physical challenges you endure, you create an atmosphere so spiritually uplifting and personal that every disciple feels your approachability, warmth, and care—no matter what difficulties they may be facing.

On this auspicious day, I sincerely beg for your blessings—
That I may follow in your footsteps,
Engage in devotional service for the pleasure of Guru and Gaurāṅga,
And remain untouched by the modes of material nature.

The words “thank you” are far too small to express the depth of my gratitude for everything you have given me and continue to give. I am forever indebted to your mercy for helping me rise above the clutches of Māyā, and for guiding me steadily on the path of devotion.

Your humble servant,
Bṛhat Gaurahari Dāsa
