Hare Kṛṣṇa!
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, Gurudeva!
Happy 76th Appearance Day, my beloved Śrī Śrīmad Jayapatākā Svāmī Mahārāja!
This is the first time I am writing something to you. From the very first day I heard your name in the Hindi-translated song “Yadi Prabhupāda na hoito...”, I became very inspired to know about you. And the more I hear about you, the more I realize that you carry that inconceivable mercy potency of Lord Nityānanda.
I have seen with my own eyes how people become Kṛṣṇa conscious simply by your presence. When you came to Noida in 2024 to celebrate your Vyāsa-pūjā, the devotees were overflowing with joy, saying, “Today Noida has become Nadia.”
You have lived your life in such a way—for the service and pleasure of Śrīla Prabhupāda—that you’ve practically removed any possible excuse that future generations of ISKCON, especially your disciples, could ever make.
O Gurudeva, please bless me in my endeavor to be a useful tool in your hands for the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda. I truly want to make you proud. That desire may be on my tongue but not yet in my heart—but by your blessings, even that transformation can become possible.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
All glories to you, Gurudeva!
Your insignificant disciple,
Balavān Girirāja Dāsa
