My beloved spiritual father,

On this most fortunate day, this unworthy daughter of yours offers you her respects, praises, and prayers.

You truly are my great master.

Thank you for your many teachings. While I am often distracted and busy defending my miserable life, you serve Śrīla Prabhupāda regardless of your health condition. When I hesitate and waver on the path of bhakti, you never falter. You remain steadfast in your devotion above all else.

Thank you for your wonderful presence in my life. It is you whom I must thank for being part of this magnificent spiritual family—with devotees, especially my dear god-sisters, who welcome me despite my many faults, who dispel my weaknesses and sadness, and who accept my small contributions of service. Despite my disability—my serious difficulties in walking, standing, and even seeing—thanks to them, I have the opportunity to help cook for festivals and serve the Deities in various ways. Thanks to them, I am able to send you this letter today.

Recently, I have also enrolled in an online Bhakti-śāstrī course offered by the temple of Villa Vṛndāvana.

I am blessed with the presence of a dear husband, a friend to the devotees, and a daughter whom you yourself have named Harinī. She spreads the holy name and Kṛṣṇa consciousness everywhere, especially in her school, among her classmates and teachers.

Today, more than ever, it is clear that my life depends entirely on your blessings.

Yours always,
Caitanya Māyī Devī Dāsī
