Dear Śrīla Gurudeva,
Please accept my most humble obeisances at Your divine lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! All glories to Your Holiness on this most auspicious occasion of Your Vyāsa-pūjā!
I am most unworthy, yet by Your causeless mercy, I have received the shelter of Your divine guidance. Though I am still awaiting the sacred moment of harināma-dīkṣā, my heart already feels deeply indebted to You for the ocean of mercy You bestow upon fallen souls like myself.
Your tireless service to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s mission, Your unwavering dedication to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions, and Your boundless compassion inspire me to surrender more fully to this process of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
Gurudeva, You have dedicated every breath of Your life to fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda’s desires. You have traveled tirelessly—despite grave health challenges—only to uplift, guide, and shelter countless souls across the globe. Your life is the perfect example of the highest service and surrender. I pray to always follow Your instructions with sincerity and determination.
I eagerly await the day when I may formally receive harināma from Your Holiness. Until then, I beg for Your blessings that I may develop the necessary humility, steadiness, and purity to serve You properly. Please bless me with the strength to chant the holy names with attention and devotion, to serve the devotees with a pure heart, and to dedicate my life to assisting in Your mission.
On this sacred Vyāsa-pūjā day, I offer my mind, words, and heart at Your lotus feet. Though I am without real qualification, I pray that You kindly accept my humble offering and allow me to serve You eternally.
Your aspiring servant,
Ram Shrestha (Shelter disciple)
