My Dear Spiritual Father,
Please accept my respectful obeisances unto the dust of your lotus feet on this most auspicious occasion of your 76th Vyāsa-pūjā day.
Although I am fallen, deeply conditioned, and devoid of any good qualities (guṇa-hīna), I still take this opportunity to glorify your divine attributes, for by doing so, I hope to purify my own heart. Just as it may be possible to measure the depth of the vast ocean, still, fathoming the depth of your compassion and devotion is beyond the grasp of my insignificant intelligence.
Guru Mahārāja, just by your merciful glance (kṛpā-dṛṣṭi), the deep-rooted anarthas in our hearts begin to dissolve, and we are inspired to take shelter of your lotus feet. As our previous ācāryas have said, a verse that so wonderfully suits you:
jāhāra nikaṭe gele pāpa dūre jāy
emona doyāla prabhu kebā kothā pāy
“Simply by approaching such a merciful master, all sins are destroyed. Where else can one find such a compassionate master?”
You have embraced our dear Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions so deeply within your heart that you never forget them—even for a moment. Through your unwavering determination, you show the world how to remain steadfast in following the words of the spiritual master.
Guru Mahārāja, you are our only source of inspiration. Hence, we say—
Over the last two years, due to a change in job and relocation, I have been staying in a remote part of Rajasthan where there is no temple or direct devotee association. Yet, by your grace, I am trying to practice and preach in a small way. I am also distributing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. I have sent you a separate preaching report with a small presentation.
Only by your blessings was I able to contribute during the 2024 book marathon by distributing:
-
302 Bhagavad-gītās
-
2 Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam sets
-
Nearly 150 small books
Also, by your divine mercy, on 25th February 2025, I entered the gṛhastha-āśrama. I seek your blessings so that together we may render meaningful service unto your lotus feet.
On this most auspicious day, I humbly pray unto your lotus feet:
Gurudeva, please continue to shower your boundless blessings and mercy upon me so that I may assist you in fulfilling the cherished desires of our dearest Śrīla Prabhupāda.
You know well that at every step of my devotional journey, I commit countless mistakes. I sincerely seek your forgiveness. Being a conditioned soul, I am burdened with many faults, which I am striving to rectify. But without your causeless mercy, I cannot overcome them.
Despite my imperfections, your compassion remains unfailing. You continue to teach, guide, and allow me to serve the Supreme Lord and His dear devotees. You never belittle me—even in my fallen state—but uplift and encourage me.
Dear Gurudeva, I pray to you—please bestow your mercy upon both of us so that we may overcome all hurdles and remain firmly fixed in the service of your lotus feet.
Your lowly servants,
