Vyāsa-pūjā 2025

Tapesh Upadhyay (Ujjain - India)

Hare Kṛṣṇa, dear Guru Mahārāja

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to your auspicious appearance day!

Dear Guru Mahārāja, I deeply regret that I somehow missed sending you my Vyāsa-pūjā offering on time. However, by your causeless mercy, I have now remembered to do so, and I am humbly submitting it before you. Please kindly accept it.

This year, you fulfilled my long-cherished desire of touching your lotus feet, a desire I have had since receiving your first darśana. I had the great fortune of offering you the Mahāvastra of Lalitā-sakhī, which I brought from ISKCON Chowpatty, and you mercifully accepted it. Additionally, you kindly blessed me to remain a brahmacārī, a most invaluable blessing for my spiritual progress. I was able to make this offering during the Kārtika-yātrā, where I was fortunate to be among ten thousand devotees led by His Holiness Radhanātha Swami Mahārāja. As a part of the kitchen team, I had the opportunity to render various evening services, such as washing and cutting vegetables. Due to these services, I was unable to attend the evening lectures given by His Holiness Radhanātha Swami Mahārāja. However, by your mercy, I was able to listen to your short yet powerful talks after the lectures, which were deeply motivating and inspiring for all the devotees present.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, throughout the year, I have strived to remain connected with you through the JPS app and a small group of Godbrothers. Through the app, I have been able to listen to your classes, read the Caitanya-caritāmṛta sections that you explained, and stay updated with your various devotional activities. This has given me a personal sense of connection with you. In our group of Godbrothers, we regularly read your Gaurāṅga book together and discussed the sweet pastimes of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, as narrated by you.

Although you are transcendental to bodily discomforts, you mercifully allow your disciples to pray for your well-being, thus engaging us in devotional service. Many times, I have remembered you and offered prayers for you, along with obeisances to Tulasī-devī for your health. You also gave us the opportunity to offer Bhagavad-gītās on your behalf during Kārtika, and by your mercy, I was able to distribute 31 Bhagavad-gītās in your name.

I vividly remember the difficult time you endured last year during your Vyāsa-pūjā, when you were admitted to a hospital in Delhi and could not physically travel to Māyāpur. However, by Kṛṣṇa’s arrangement—and your determined compassion—you personally visited ISKCON Noida, granting your disciples the opportunity to celebrate your Vyāsa-pūjā in your divine presence. I watched the Vyāsa-pūjā celebrations from ISKCON Juhu in Mumbai, and seeing the devotees' emotions upon seeing you again was overwhelming. Many were moved to tears, witnessing your unbreakable commitment to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s mission despite your health challenges.

Dear Guru Mahārāja, your unwavering faith in Śrīla Prabhupāda’s instructions is my greatest inspiration. I humbly seek your blessings so that I may assist you in fulfilling these divine orders. Though I attempted to serve in Food for Life distribution, I was unable to fully engage due to my schedule. However, I am determined to assist you in whatever way possible, whether through book distribution, spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness, or Food for Life services—all as an offering at your lotus feet.

Your spiritual son,
Trivikrama Mukunda Dāsa
