Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my respectful obeisances.
All glories to you!
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Happy appearance day, dear Gurudeva. I sincerely pray to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Gopīnātha, Jagannātha, Baladeva, and Subhadrā Mā, as well as Lord Narasiṁhadeva, for your good health.
Gurudeva, recently when you were in Chennai, you mentioned that after examining you, the doctors had stated that you are now fit to travel. I sincerely pray to the Lord for your continued good health, and, selfishly, I also pray that if Kṛṣṇa so desires, you will visit Sydney this year. We humbly request you to stay in Sydney for a longer time and engage us in your service.
Gurudeva, your Caitanya-śikṣāmṛta classes are deeply nectarean. You mercifully distribute the grace of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda. Anyone who sincerely listens to your classes will receive Their mercy. However, due to my anarthas, I fail to pay full attention to them. I sincerely beg you to bless me so that I listen with full concentration and progress through the stages of bhakti in a way pleasing to you.
You are a living Bhāgavata. You have taught us that time is Kṛṣṇa and have shown us by your own example how every moment should be engaged in the service of Kṛṣṇa and Śrīla Prabhupāda. You are fixed one hundred percent in pleasing Śrīla Prabhupāda. I sincerely pray that I should imbibe at least a dust of your qualities and perform my service properly. I do not face any external hurdles—only my own laziness in practicing Kṛṣṇa consciousness. I sincerely pray, Guru Mahārāja, please help me overcome this and engage in your service with enthusiasm.
You are an able gardener who is very actively distributing the fruit of love of Godhead. Only by the mercy of Guru can one get the mercy of Lord Nityānanda, and by the mercy of Lord Nityānanda, one can get the mercy of Lord Caitanya. And by the mercy of Lord Caitanya, one can achieve the mercy of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. I sincerely pray for your mercy. I am currently pursuing Bhakti-śāstrī and am being taught and guided by your sincere disciples, His Grace Ānandamaya Gopīnātha Dāsa, Her Grace Śrīguru Bhakti Devī Dāsī, and His Grace Saṅkīrtana Narottama Dāsa, to please you. I sincerely beg for your mercy so that I can study Bhakti-śāstrī diligently, please you, and make you proud, dear Gurudeva.
Whenever I read the verse:
brahmāṇḍa bhramite kona bhāgyavān jīva
guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja
I always reflect on how fortunate I am to be your disciple. I possess no good qualifications, yet you have mercifully planted the seed of bhakti in my heart. Without your grace, I would be lost in this material world, competing for mundane things. Only by your mercy, Gurudeva, have I come to know the path of bhakti.
I sincerely pray, dear Gurudeva, that my husband, Saṅtuṣṭa Vrajeśa Dāsa, my daughters, Joṣikā and Taniṣkhā, and I will follow our sādhana diligently and bring you happiness. We sincerely pray for your blessings so that we chant properly and follow in your footsteps.
Your humble fallen daughter,
Kavipriyā Vrajeśvarī Devī Dāsī
Dīkṣā disciple (Sydney Yātrā)
